In this episode of \"Friday's Fines,\" the host of Dude RV showcases a variety of products, mostly from Amazon, while providing updates on his new digital tools for trip planning. The video blends product reviews—ranging from hearing aid maintenance to e-bike accessories—with personal updates about his homestead and business ventures.
Good morning, welcome to Dude RV. I appreciate you stopping by and of course say it with me,
you got here just in time because it's Friday and it's time for another edition of Friday's
Fines. In case you don't know, Friday's Fines is a product compilation show where I work with
products, most of them from Amazon. Vendors send them to, you know, they want us to build you a
video, so sell their stuff for them. And yeah, so that's what we do here. Most of the products
come from Amazon and I'm an Amazon influencer and I earn a little money. If you go over to
Amazon from those links and make a purchase, that helps support the channel. It also motivates
companies to send us the products so that we can keep making the show. All right, at the end. So
anyway, we're gonna get into it. There's usually four to five products. If you see it here, it
actually performed. If you don't see it, it don't perform. Oh wait, I forgot all my background
watchers. Y'all gotta know what's going on. So it is so hot. It is so hot. Got all the fans blowing
to stay cool. Now you saw last Friday, the big thing that I was working on. Of course,
y'all are not seeing what's going on on the business side of things. Spending most, I haven't
been spending a whole lot of time working around here on the homestead because I've been working
online. So if you'll jump over to DudeRV.com, I have invested a whole lot of thought and time
into redesigning that so that it's actually a functional tool for you to plan your trips.
And that sinks into the next platform that kind of grew out of that process, which is
AtlasMap.org. I'm further along on the DudeRV side of the equation than I am on the Atlas
side of the equation. But if you jump over to AtlasMap.org, you'll get a feel for where we're
going with that. On the DudeRV Sphere, that map that you're seeing, that's a custom map.
And that highlights all the locations that I've created videos for. And all the videos
are connected to those pins. You click the pin, a page for that location opens up. We've got some
cool tech built into that, so it's going to provide you with a lot more than just the videos.
That map is also the tool that we've built into the AtlasMap.org platform. Rather than me trying
to explain it to you, just jump over there and check it out. Meanwhile, I've got to open some
boxes. I'll put links to the AtlasMap and DudeRV. They're all over the place.
Let's open some boxes!
We have five boxes. We've got a little bitty one and we've got a couple of soft ones. We're
going to start with the white one and the pretty picture on it. This actually is not a vendor
sponsored product. I had to go find the knife. I rely on hearing aids. I have a hearing issue
and rely on hearing aids. This time of year when it's so humid, a little bit of sweat
destroys those things. The VA will fix them, but I have to wait forever to get them back.
So, I went out looking for a better solution to the humidity, to the drying out process,
and I found this. We're going to put it to the test. Very nice packaging. As someone with hearing
aids can tell you, this would be a good gift. If my kids had given this to me, I wouldn't have
been upset. I would have been like, yeah, I needed that. Basically, it dries and pulls air in and
blows it across and evaporates the moisture. Let me get my hearing aids and show you what I'm
talking about. So, these are my fancy hearing aids. This is a battery charger. They've got
built-in batteries. As you can see, when they're in my ear, it's a direct sweat that runs right
down in there. There are little bitty tiny microphones in here. You can see the little
openings there. When water, a little bit of sweat gets in there, it fouls the speaker and it starts
to corrode it. Also, dust will get in there and it'll be wet and it'll turn into mud.
Then, there's little contacts in there. The sweat will get down in there and corrode that.
So, this device pulls a stream of air through there. There's also a heater so that we can dry those
out. Since I moved out here, as soon as I get a new set of hearing aids and I go out,
I might chop wood or something. So, I've had to stop wearing my hearing aids. Hopefully,
this is going to let me get back into auditory heaven. Meanwhile, I've got to charge up the
battery so that you can see it work or get it to work. Figure out how to get it to work.
We'll open another box. This is the clean and sanitize mode. So, there's a UV light flashing
and we're pulling air in and exhausting it here. So, it'll exhaust for two hours.
The UV light will operate for two minutes. So, we'll be back in two hours. I like that I can
use one transformer. I don't have to take up two plugs. The DryCap UV 2.1 also includes
a hearing aid cleaning kit. Very handy to have. All right, let's open another box.
I can't. Not even going to try, but it's really well packaged. It's a pretty color.
Beautiful presentation, whatever it is. Oh, yeah, that's what it was. This is a stainless steel
chain. I thought that was a nice piece of work. I especially like the heavy duty
chain. A beautiful present for someone. All right, that's pretty good against the blue.
Moving right along. Next, we'll open a white box. I don't know what it is.
Ah, I remember what this is. I need this, because anytime I'm out shooting footage
these days, I'm on the e-bike. Wind frim. Nice. Oh, we got a strap, so you can hang it over your
shoulder. Of course, we can mount it to the handlebars. Water bottle. Bungee straps for
holding an umbrella or something. That's for your phone. The lanyard for your keys.
An interior cash pocket and dividers in here. You got batteries and stuff.
Let me put it on the e-bike, and we'll put some gear in it. Meanwhile, we are moving right along.
Next, occasionally, products and lifestyle align. I have a hot tub. I have a prescription for a hot
tub. Somebody asked if I could help them out. I got a hot tub. They got a hot tub cover. Let's see.
Got a bag. That actually works really well. Surprise. Fits perfect. If I did not have a cover,
now I can keep the bugs out. Even with having a cover, this gives me an extra layer of
insulation, so if I'm headed out on a trip, I don't have to worry about any bugs getting in my...
Sometimes, the bugs will crawl in right there. They'll crawl in there, and this will keep them
out. For the price, you can't beat that. Straps and snug it up, and then drawstrings here,
so you can get it doubly tight. Well, they see that. Actually, I've got it on the wrong place.
Let me move it, because that's your hinge vent. Snugged it down. Now,
it would be very difficult for that to blow off. We can still have a vent. Imagine when that
clean cycle kicks on. It'll blow it up, so we'll wait until this afternoon and see about that.
Meanwhile, let's open another box. Not really a box. Didn't come with a box. Came in one of them
plastic envelopes. We got to go out in the heat. Y'all remember the portable garage
up on the hill? We got a front door for the garage.
We have a door. Check that out. We need to roll it up. Zippers are great. Now, you can see that
I have... I need a roof. My roof just started giving out, but my door got here just in time.
How about that? All right. Moving right along. I really like this bag. There's even straps.
I put my raincoat down there. If you get someplace and you need to take your stuff with you,
there's a shoulder strap. You can just un-Velcro, pop it off, and take it with you. Check that out.
That is so cool. Got my batteries in here. My tripod.
And it's bright orange. They'll see me coming. Moving right along. There'll be a link up there.
There'll be a link down there. You know how that goes. Like, subscribe, all that fun stuff. Thank
you so much for watching. I hope you found some value in it. Tell me. Post a comment down there.
