DIY Nightstand Makeover With Real Wood Tops!

I totally didn't like the color I initially painted these! Ever make over a piece where things just keep going wrong??

These nightstands needed a makeover, but my sander kicked the bucket, then I didn't like the color AFTER painting three coats! I replaced the old tops with new solid pine ones and did a white wax treatment, but didn't like THAT color either, haha! So I did a liming wax treatment over the FIRST one!
On top of all that, when I first uploaded this video I was dealing with a crummy copyright claim from a 25-second clip I used from a completely royalty-free tune on iMovie, AND discovered an error in the video itself. UGH! So I had to remove the last version and HERE is the updated one! WHAT A DAY! haha

I eventually "GOT THERE" and LOVE the results of this furniture flip, but this is the perfect example of things not always going as planned. People often say "oh, you make it look so easy." TRUST ME—it's NOT always easy! haha
