I'm Rosh and this is Leo's story for GeoGeeks.
I wasn't the first person who tried to adopt him.
He was already adopted out to another family before, but then he was returned because he
talked so much.
And yeah, they said he talked so much and that they weren't really ready to commit to
someone like him that needed a lot of attention, then they returned him and he ended up with
me.
The moment I brought him to the house, for some reason, I was really expecting that he
was going to go under the bed and hide there for several days.
But I opened the crate and he just started exploring.
He went to all of the rooms, he was smelling everything.
And I then realized what the people who tried to adopt him meant.
Because even though he was comfortable during the day, I think he started feeling different
at night.
And this is when he started singing the song of his people.
So he would meow a lot and like, it's like his long meows that are, that kind of make
you feel like, is he okay?
But he actually was, he just really meowed a lot.
And then eventually he calms down, moves into my room and sleeps beside me.
Thanks.
I guess.
He's still very vocal from 12 to 3.
Do you mind giving me some space?
I feel like this is a little too close.
I actually have now changed my routine.
I now wake up at five.
I have an automatic feeder, by the way, so he has that.
But the moment he notices that I open my eyes, it's go time.
He would breathe in my ear, like next to my ear, or meow a lot, or like, he would try
to boop my nose as well.
Or he would try to smell me and then meow so close until I wake up.
I love to sing and because Leo is always by my side, he tends to sing back.
Love to time.
He's just next to me all the time.
Did you like that we walked outside?
I'm very fortunate to have that kind of connection with him.
You don't want keys?
For me, it's kind of like one in a million.
We should talk about you paying your rent.
We should.
Say bye.
