This Italian cherry pie is one of our family's favorite teatime desserts! Crostata is made with crumbly shortcrust pastry, delicate custard, and juicy cherries. It's quick and easy to make, and always delicious.

This recipe works well with cherries, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, apricots, or any other berries or fruits. Even without the filling, this Italian pie is incredibly delicious and tender.

👉 Recipe: (ingredients)
Step 1:
Butter - 100g
Egg - 1
Sugar - 70g
Flour - 220g
Salt - a pinch
Baking powder - 4g
Pitted cherries
Icing sugar - for decoration
Step 2:
Egg - 1
Sugar - 100g
Starch/flour - 50g
Butter - 30g
Vanilla sugar - 10g
Milk - 500ml
Bake at 180°C for 30 minutes.
Tin diameter: 22cm.
