James Pelton's 10 Minute Rant

Hey, this is James Pelton and I'm going live with Yield Robot in about 20 minutes, but I was just sunburned enough and my kids just, you know, tired enough and I'm just jet-lagged enough where I had a bit of a rant that I just wanted to get off my chest before this upcoming live stream. So I'm in South Africa, obviously it's five in the, almost five in the afternoon here, but I just wanted to say I, what I'm always going to do, I'm always going to make content that I believe is best for my community, best for my audience, and that's just what I'm going to do. If you don't like the type of content that I do, that's totally fine. You can, you know, usually my videos I say hit the subscribe button, it's in one of these corners, I never know which one, but you can also unsubscribe. Okay, like I just, I just have, I had the funniest messages today when originally Yield Robot said, hey Crypto K by the way, hello everyone, and if you're in my community and you, I appreciate your support so much. This is just a little rant, this is probably the angriest that you're going to see me on video. I'm red mostly from sunburn, not anger, but it's getting there. No, but, so Yield Robot approached me, they said, hey, we want to do a video. I looked over Yield Robots quickly and I said, eh, not real interested in this. It looks just like stable funds, they don't have trade history or anything like that. The founder of Yield Robots got in touch with me, they said, hey, no, we have different things. We have trade history, we have this, we have that, and I said, all right, fine, let's go ahead and do an AMA. People have asked me about Yield Robot, I have no idea what to tell them, so let's come on, do an AMA. Then everybody's freaking out that I'm bringing them on. It's just like, you don't have to watch it. Again, this is a rant. I'm going to make this short because I do want to get ready for the Yield Robot. It's going to be at 5 o'clock, about 18 minutes from now, so please join in for that. I have questions I want to ask them. Yeah, I'm skeptical. 2% a day has not worked anywhere else. I've never seen trading bots that make 2% a day. Ian says, you don't need to explain yourself. I know, I appreciate you, Ian. I appreciate my community. My community is the reason. Again, earlier in the fall, I was pretty much about ready to just peace out of YouTube, but then my community just said, hey, no, we appreciate you. That's who I make my videos for. I have Ian and Chance and Dan and Armack. Those are the people I have in mind when I make my content. The rest of you, you can watch from the outside. You don't have to watch. If you don't like this project, but then this is the last thing I'll say in my rant. If anybody has questions, yes, I take payment for AMAs. I do that. It takes my time. I'm in South Africa. It's 5 in the afternoon. My kids asked if I can play Stardew Valley with them. Anybody play Stardew Valley? I'm taking time out to do this instead of Stardew Valley with my kids. It's like, yeah, I'm going to take payment for that. Yes, Encrypt, okay. Yes, all of you. Mark, yes. Got to ignore the noise. I know. I just wanted to do a quick rant video. I see other YouTubers do that. I want to be a legit YouTuber. Again, people who messaged me and had like, hey, we care about your brand and things like that. I appreciate you guys so much, the care from you and definitely appreciate that. I got messages like, in your thumbnail, you look excited about this project. I just want to tell you, if you are basing your, I'm going to look right in the camera, right here. If you are basing your investment decisions on how excited the YouTuber looks in the thumbnail, you should delete, go up to the top right and delete the MetaMask extension from your browser. Remove it. Do not do crypto. I guarantee you, you're going to lose all your money. You cannot base your decisions, investment decisions on whether a YouTuber, I changed the thumbnail to look more inquisitive rather than excited. People were like, oh yeah, that's a lot better. Now we're not mad. It's like, oh my goodness. Thank you guys. I feel so much better. I just wanted to get that off my chest. Hus says, what it is, a lot. There's a lot of people who said that. Yeah. YouTube comments are a sad cesspool of people that just say, yeah, Twitter too. I don't know why I keep, if I didn't have 50,000 followers on Twitter, I definitely would delete it for sure. James, if you have time before Project 79 sacrifice, would like to get a members only opinion on the new changes. Yes. I believe they're open until the 9th or the 10th, if that's correct. They did extend it a couple of days. Personally, we don't even need to do it members only. I'm excited about it. I understand what they're trying to do. I understand for some of us, like I was fine with the sacrifice model, so I would prefer less safe and the higher returns. Personally, that's what I would prefer. I understand why they're moving. They're institutional investor who's like, I want to put a million dollars into Project 79. I put them in touch, but then they're like, well, why is it called a sacrifice? You're saying that there's no guarantee or anything. I could just completely lose all my money. I understand why they're kind of wanting to move models to, hey, we actually own the mines now. All in all though, I like it. The team is amazing. They're trying to do huge things in the space. Again, there's two directions you can go in crypto. You can go the decentralized direction, which is no team involvement and it's just contract based. That site has problems because of exploits and things like that. The other direction is you can go, let's go regulated, let's go centralized. And that's the direction that Hydro Whales is trying to go with Project 79. So I put more in, I'm up to 50K in Project 79. I want the 20% bonus when they're moving over. And then I imagine our returns may be eventually a little bit lower, but again, you can kind of, it's kind of, would you prefer a safer 3% return or a riskier 6% return? And institutional investors coming in, we have a $10 million TDL in Project 79. If you're able to get up to a hundred million TDL, it actually opens up more options for you. So there's a chance, who knows what they're going to be able to do in the future. So that's what I would say about it. Anybody have anything else? I only have a couple of minutes left here before the yield node video. I feel a lot better. I just needed to take a deep breath. I kind of told my wife about it, but she didn't seem proportionally angry about the situation. And so I wanted to just get other people's perspective on that. Dangerous Crypto, appreciate you. Appreciate you, brother. I really appreciate it. I'm doing great in South Africa. It's not intended for redheads. I will say that. There's no amount of sunscreen that can protect me from the perils of the sun here. In my prayers today, more than ever, thank you, Ian. Go do three safaris. Yeah, we found out my six-year-old, Everett, he's obsessed with the beach. So we've been spending like 20... First thing when we wake up, can I go to the beach? And last thing when we go to bed is, can we go to the beach tomorrow? So Lamar says, do your thing, man. No matter what you do, you can't please everybody. Very true. And that's kind of what I realized. And again, that's why I'm for... I'd rather direct my content towards these 300, 400 people, my dedicated community, rather than 51,000 faceless fairweather people there. So let's see. Any other questions? You must be doing something right if you have haters. Yeah, and I have realized that too. When I had 1,000 subscribers, every video, I was just a superhero. I could do no wrong. And as you get bigger, it's definitely harder. RMac James is amazing. I feel like he gets harder time because he's a Christian. Yeah, and I do get a lot of comments about would Jesus do that and things like that. And sometimes I appreciate it if it comes from a good place. I appreciate challenges like that. I had a good discussion with a Christian. Personally, I'm OK. Just because something has Ponzinomics doesn't mean I'm not going to try to get in early and make some profit and get out. Personally, I don't have an ethical problem with that. As long as people are upfront and clear. Some of you asked about ArcFi yesterday, and I think it was pretty clear that they even said it. Yeah, our money comes in right now from new investors. So it's like, OK, if you don't want to do that, they're clear about it. It's not a scheme at all. If they're clear about that, then, yeah, that might not be the project for you. Personally, I have a little bit of degen in me. And we've talked about maybe I have a split personality where I come on with a headband or something and I'm crypto Jimbo, the degen, or something. Because some of these 2% day plays, I miss those. In the bull market, we were doing those left and right. And it was fun. I would be so excited. And there's a part of me that wants to do that. But I also want to help people long term. You're not going to make generational wealth off 2% a day, OK? I don't guarantee it because not financial advice. But you're not going to make generational wealth off 2% a day. But that doesn't mean it's not fun, OK? And it doesn't mean that there's not money to be made in it. I've had a way more fun time doing YouTube since I started this community rather than just like, hey, anybody who wants to get on can. So speaking of which, for my community, these bots are selling. And it's doing a little bit better in the month of January. We haven't had it. One thing people need to know about Forex, we're trading EURUSD. And it doesn't trade on weekends. It doesn't trade on holidays. So the days that we've been running in January, we've actually been doing really well. But it doesn't run today because it's a Saturday. It didn't run on New Year's Day. So we missed a bunch of days. So I think, yeah, this week, 0.89% is what we've gotten so far. The NFT collection is going. We have 23 left to sell. Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to get that set up and start it trading until I get back home, which is going to be like the 12th. So I still have a little bit before we start trading. But I'll keep you guys in touch once my community kind of does a run through of it and make sure we get the kinks worked out. It's very ugly right now. You guys saw, I just, honestly, I knew I wanted it to be like Robo Rex themed. And so I just, I think I did like robot T-Rex or something. I just Googled it and I grabbed one of these images. I tried to find one that I thought was not copyright, but I'll get a designer. Maybe you can even find it. Maybe I use this one off iStock. But I'm trying to get a designer to make something a little bit better. So we're working on that. And we're also working. Warbots are still going really well. I haven't talked about them for a while, but they're backed by Shiny Jackalbots and they're actually doing great. I think they did about 3% for December, which, you know, in this market, I'm really happy with that. Altcoin Richard, this is good feedback. See, I appreciate this. I'm not anti-feedback. I think the big thing is you go too easy on the projects you're interviewing. You should ask challenging questions and provide perspective on whether you ultimately think the project is safe, sustainable. So thank you, Altcoin Richard. I really appreciate it. That is good feedback. That is, I am a people pleaser. Like I don't tend to go around telling people you're doing this wrong. You're doing this wrong. That's just not my personality. And it might be helpful for my community if I did more of that. So, you know, I'm praying and working through that. And I do plan on asking difficult questions because I want to know if I should get into it. I want to know if my community should get into it. So today I am planning on asking some difficult, like why I've never seen any, I've never seen any trading bots that make 2% a day explain this to us. So come bring your questions. Like I won't shy away from any questions that you guys have. Yes, thank you. Yeah, I'm very excited about it too. We have some other things in the works too. I think we're, I don't know how much to say because it's not finalized yet, but I think we're going to do an NFT where we like guarantee 3% a month and I'll even back it like with my own money. But if we make more than 3%, I'll take that. So it's kind of, we'll have a few options, a Facebook marketplace one. If you guys saw the NowGrit ones, that's a 40k minimum to get in. So I'm going to do an NFT collection to get small. If you don't want to do 40k. So a lot of things in the work. Now that I have a NFT minting contract that I can use at will, we can do a lot of big things. I don't have to worry about all these other projects and are they going to rub? Are they going to do this? Are they going to do that? I can just, I honestly, I just am getting tired of the space. And so I'm like, I'm just going to go build my own stuff and go from there. So James, appreciate man. I apologize, James, that I have not gotten to your email yet. I will get to that. I'm so far behind on my emails. I have 180 right now in my inbox and I just, I've been busy here while I'm in South Africa, but I will catch up eventually.
