And you know what, if he was around here over the weekend, it would have been a much nicer
birthday with all this beautiful weather.
But the good thing is right now, we still deal with some beautiful weather outside as
well.
So you can see that the airports at the moment are all showing temperatures mostly hanging
around those mid to low 70s.
Some partly cloudy skies over top of DC, DCA.
You can see it says it's mostly cloudy, but again, not seeing a lot of the fact of rain
out of these clouds.
But that does change as we head in towards the second half of the day.
So winds will stay light as we head in towards the afternoon hours.
Temperatures get up to about 88 degrees for the city.
We can see temperatures mostly in those mid to almost upper 80s here throughout the rest
of the suburbs as well.
But the humidity is going to be the main thing, right?
We're going to see that really cranking up and continuing to give us the potential for
those pop-up showers towards the afternoon time frame.
Then as we head in towards the overnight hours, temperatures are expected to get back towards
those 70s and even some mid 60s.
But that's not going to be all of it, right?
We are expecting to see that those clouds, of course, will lead to some of those rain
chances for parts of Tuesday.
But talking about Monday here, we do see a little bit of a break towards the overnight
hours.
But then as we head in towards Tuesday morning, this is where we can see one of those stronger
lines at first, about 630, especially over towards parts of Western Maryland, parts of
Northwestern Virginia.
And of course, West Virginia could see some of that activity there.
Then as it starts to slide through, of course, it'll bring us some rain showers towards the
morning.
But then as it starts to give us a little bit of that break in the cloud cover, this
is where the atmosphere can rejuvenate, get a little bit more of that strength building
along again.
And then the second wave of showers could then start to become a little bit stronger.
And that's where the severe potential is expected.
Then as we head in towards Wednesday, again, run-of-the-mill showers from the, of course,
backflow of it, but otherwise not expecting to see much in the way of severe weather for
it.
Tuesday here, we do have that slight risk, so something to keep in mind for that little
afternoon timeframe for us.
But for the most part here, seven-day forecast, we're expecting to see temperatures dropping
back down towards those mid-80s.
Once again, we can expect to see lower humidity by about Thursday, leading into some parts
of Friday.
But then we start to get warm and, of course, a few showers starting to pop up by the weekend
timeframe as well.
