Police search for suspects in Titusville shooting

Our top story tonight, a home shot up in the middle of the night. A family was inside when police say two suspects fired shots at the home in Titusville and tonight they're still on the run. Thanks for joining us. I'm Larissa Leone. This all happened around 4 30 this morning on Thomas Street, Fox 35 Stephanie Buffa. Monty is live in Titusville tonight. Now, Stephanie, you spoke with the homeowner, Larissa. I did. I spoke with her off camera because she wants to protect her privacy. She is worried because the suspects are still out there and she has no idea why someone would shoot up her home. She tells me she was inside sleeping alongside her grandchild and her son was sleeping in the house as well. When those gunshots rang out, she says it is a miracle. They are all okay and they were not hurt. The sound of feet hitting the pavement caught on surveillance. Titusville police believe these two potential suspects allegedly shot up this home. You can see all of the bullet holes riddled outside of the house on Thomas Street. Titusville police say they're now trying to track down who fired the shots into the home at 4 30 in the morning. Police say the two suspects fired multiple rounds into the home that had people inside. Everything we've gathered at this time shows or appears to show suspects firing directly into a residence and then fleeing the scene on foot. Interim police chief Tyler Wright says thankfully no one was hurt. Walk up to a house 4 30 in the morning. No one more than likely people are inside and firing into the residence extremely, extremely dangerous and that's something that we don't take lightly here. The interim chief says the suspects ran to this alleged getaway car that they believe was possibly a Mercedes Benz. In one video you can see a car pulling up very slowly with the headlights off. The car turns around, backs up and following that you see the car door open and people get out in this next video that was cropped by the police department to protect the people who provided it to them. You see two people who investigators believe to be the potential suspects walking at a normal pace. Then shortly after running back and in this video you can see a car driving away. Now the police department is working around the clock to catch whoever fired the shots. We've had some gun violence in the last couple weeks. We don't know if it's related to anything uh to this incident itself. This one was just kind of seem like a random one but at this point no motive and Titusville PD is looking for your help.
