The Anthem Film Festival at Freedom Fest is showcasing a documentary that proves it's never too late to find love. The Newlyweds follows one couple who found happiness again after the loss of their spouses. NTD's Chris Bobb has the story. I'm at the Anthem Film Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada where the NTD Studios mini documentary Newlyweds was just screened. I spoke to attendees as well as the stars of the show. You guys look, I think you look a lot younger than you really are. Am I, am I allowed to, are we allowed to know? I'm 93 and a half. They were married and their spouses die and then these two individuals find one another. You would think, man you could be really depressed after you lose the love of your life naturally and sad and you have a period of grieving uh but but that grief and that sorrow is not something that has to be final. What both those individuals do in this film is they take the hopes of their spouses who have passed and that that hope is that they'd be happy in the rest of this life. The immediate vision that came to me was like this is a miracle. Being from their generation I thought it was really really beautiful and they are amazing beautiful people. Love comes to you if you really want to go and get it. You can find it. We also hope that more younger people would look at this and say maybe I should consider getting married. We understand there are a lot of young people these days that think that that's not worthwhile. You find a mate that has so many interests and and and makes makes everything more enjoyable when you do it together. There's such a richness about having somebody in your life that you can say anything to, that you can trust, that can stand behind you and in front of you and there's just nothing like it in the world and I know it's risky. It's worth it. It's worth it. It's worth it but don't but search out somebody who really shares something. It can't be about physical attraction. It can't be because it felt good tonight. It's and you know it. You know it. It's happened twice to me now. We knew almost instantly when we started talking to each other. Don't look. Just put yourself out there and be yourself.
