I didn't say it.
I just didn't say that.
You did say it.
I don't lie, you lie.
I don't lie.
You lie.
When?
Oh my God.
When do I lie?
Hi, I'm Danny Murphy.
I'm Evan Real.
And it seems like House of Yes was a mess.
Oh my God, a total mess.
And it was Charlie versus the entire cast, pretty much.
Yeah, it's funny because Brooks kept on thinking Rocky Horror Picture Show was the Rocky Horror
Chocolate Show, but it was really Charlie and the Chocolate Factory because Charlie was
down bad.
Now, I do love how this is a show about New York.
The fact that they, as someone who lived, I'm now a Jersey boy, I lived in Brooklyn
for years.
The fact that they do treat going to Brooklyn like it is international travel is hilarious
to me.
Well, I will say they really covered ground on Halloween night.
This was a Halloween episode.
Some of the group started out at the Frick on the Upper East Side.
Then they went to Brooklyn and then they went to another after party in Brooklyn.
They kept like bopping around.
There were so many places they went.
The kids are young.
I am not.
It couldn't be me.
I just cannot travel that much in one night.
Amira was talking about how it was like a night full of Ubers.
She really was committed to the bit.
It is that thing where it's like the Uber actually will take longer, but if you're on
a reality show and glammed up, I also would probably call an Uber as well.
Riley, you're not going to traverse through the city in whatever super high heels I'm
sure Amira was wearing.
Have you been to House of Yes?
No.
I've done a pop-up, but I've never been to the actual institution.
The pop-up was like a pop-up within, do you remember the 29 rooms installation that Refinery
29 did?
Wow.
No, I know.
It's 2016 again, baby.
Next Gen was not alive for this, but wow.
There was like a little mini House of Yes within there.
So I understood the vibes, but I don't know the full experience.
What's it like?
It is.
I mean, it really is a House of Yes.
They have parties all night.
It's a very Brooklyn spot, so I'm glad the kids were getting their whole taste.
I used to live by it.
It looked cool.
Yeah.
Wow.
I'm glad I don't live there anymore so then these kids can visit me maybe.
I don't know if they would want to visit me, but yeah, they went there.
Rowan was the co-owner of this party or co-thrower of the party with Shai, who also was the topic
of conversation, but we'll get to Shai in a second because Charlie was really versus
everybody.
The first blowout fight he had was with Brooks, who had some tequila courage and courage from
Amira and Ava to have a conversation with Charlie because they've kind of been dancing
around each other and maybe running away.
You got this.
I love you.
Kiss, kiss.
Brush it, baby.
Kill it.
He just swerved you into the bar.
Yeah, look, I don't blame Brooks.
I don't want to talk to Charlie.
I don't want to be in the same room as Charlie.
I totally understand Brooks' sentiment when he says, look, I have a brand that is literally
my name.
If I associate with Charlie, then I'm connected to him forever and I don't want this crypto
torture chamber to be part of my brand and my identity and also just someone who would
be involved in that.
I don't know how I would feel about being a friend to them.
That's why it's so weird to me and Georgia said it best.
Charlie Zakor does seem kind of like a cult leader and for whatever reason, she got out
of the cult and she keeps telling everyone it's a cult.
Stay away.
It seems like he's just sort of like gaining more and more friends and trust amongst the
group and it's so weird.
I don't get it.
I think everybody should leave the cult.
I did.
Ava did kind of eat a little bit when she was like, well, your mom was on a show with
someone who committed fraud.
No one is associating her with that.
Think about Housewife, your mom's show.
There was a lady that was arrested.
Does that mean your mom is a criminal too?
No, it doesn't.
I think because Brooks is saying it's because of the brand, I feel Brooks really just doesn't
f**k with Charlie anymore.
And I think I'm like, I feel Brooks, now you may be at a level where you could just say
like, I don't want to be his friend anymore.
Right.
Which is okay.
It's not because it's brand safe.
I just don't give a s**t about how you operate.
Because even outside of the brand safe concerns, he just seems like he has a rancid, putrid
energy.
Why would you want to be around that?
Also saying f**k your dad to his face, then he apologized to Seth Marks.
Seth Marks is the sweetest, kindest human.
We love him so much, Seth Marks, if you're seeing this.
We're obsessed with you and it's actually insane that Charlie would ever talk s**t on
your name like that.
That is f**ked up.
After Brooks had to point out to him, he's the only one who would sit down to film with
you last season, you ******* loser.
I know, Seth.
Loser behavior, Charlie.
Yeah.
He got you heated.
He does get me heated.
I really don't like that man.
I honestly, I really don't.
His energy just brings a vibe to the show that I'm really not ******* with.
And also, it's funny, too, because George was saying he has a cult of followers, but
none of them really talk to him.
Who talks to him in any moment?
I mean, he finds reasons to film and people to film with, which is absolutely insane.
And then Amira, who has been pretty pro-Charlie this whole time.
Even after having conflict with him, it resulted really fast because she asked Charlie, were
you the one who told Georgia about the Kevin comment?
And he was like, I probably did.
And she was like, OK.
And then when Amira told Georgia that and that she views Charlie as a close friend,
Georgia let her know what apparently Charlie has been saying behind Amira's back about
Kevin.
Remember over the past year, I'd be like, why doesn't Amira like me?
And it'd be like, she thinks you're flirting with Kevin, whatever.
And then you would laugh.
And every time you would say, this is ridiculous because he's a gay man.
Which is that he thinks Kevin is a gay man.
And then when he was confronted by Georgia about that, he was like, I don't remember
that.
I don't remember that.
He's he's so annoying.
Even when after the Berks of it all and the brand safeness and the crypto torture chamber,
he was like, ask me any question.
Then he's like, Georgia asked one question or Amira asked one question and shut it down.
Yeah.
I won't be answering that.
I won't be talking about it.
Also, he makes no sense.
I know.
And that comment about Amira's boyfriend is very cutting for a lot of reasons.
Oh, my God.
Absolutely.
Like it's transphobic.
Yes.
It could be interpreted, I mean, fully that it's also homophobic and it's just discrediting
their entire relationship, discrediting the friendship that they had.
It was just so if that is true, Charlie's denying it.
Georgia is standing down.
I don't know why Georgia would do something.
I know people don't love George all the time.
She's not a girl who's just going to make up something for no reason.
I fully believe her in this in this situation and scenario.
And it is weird.
Charlie's language this season has been sprinkled with a bit of homophobia at times.
I don't know if the audience is catching it, but when he was talking about Brooks, he can't
be a party gal forever.
Even in this episode, when Brooks approached him, he said something like, oh, super sparkly.
It's just like he was like, oh, he can suck my dick.
There's just like there's something weird about the way he's talking to people either
in the LGBTQIA plus community or those who are involved in it or adjacent to it somehow.
I don't know.
It's just it's weird.
Yeah.
And that's what I was like, because that, I think, is why Amira had such like seeing
red reaction, because it really is pulling the rug from under her about this friendship
with someone that you're being so hateful and stereotypically awful about her and her
relationship, which is very I felt so bad for her in that moment.
And like, I'm glad Brooks and I was out there to support her and Kevin and Kevin's out to
care.
He's ready to box.
I would for the show box out of that, like no, no money for the show.
I'm not holding back.
I'm not defending him anymore.
I'm just saying.
I'm not protecting.
Oh, yeah.
That was so hot.
I know it was kind of hot.
It was.
Violence is never the answer.
But sometimes it's hot.
I'm just kidding.
Violence is never hot.
But someone inferring that they could be violent on me, so I'm from Jersey.
Sometimes you got to get a little heated.
Gia was even saying when she was like how these how this group, I think it was last
time.
She's like, this group gets a little heated.
And I know my family is voluminous and fighting, but yeah, it is.
I feel bad that her man sat out the Brooklyn journey.
I think he's scarred from.
I would much rather be hiding in New Jersey with Christian than being involved in some
of this mess.
Yeah.
Because it was it was a lot.
And then also in the preview for next week, it seems like Amira and Kevin are going to
have a sit down with Charlie.
I don't know what answers will come from that.
I mean, currently, because, you know, we recently caught up with Amira and she and Charlie are
cool and her sentiments about Charlie are pretty pro Charlie these days and pretty anti
Georgia these days.
So, you know, something happened where they were able to make amends or figure it out.
Now, I wonder, did they just make amends?
Did Charlie have some proof that denies Georgia?
I mean, I don't know what that would be.
I don't know.
But we'll see.
The other one that I love, Ariana's years work, especially in a lot of places like House
of House of.
Yes.
Well, first, Charlie was thrown under the bus saying you associate with her.
She had a relationship.
Hello.
A little different.
Very different.
And then also the the fact that everyone's running to Hudson about her life and Hudson
also being such a little baby bitch flying back to Atlanta and not going to the party
when he was all talking about with his whole entire chest, like boundaries is boundaries
that don't with my girl, etc.
Shy is so messy and got caught being messy and doesn't want to handle it and can't remember
what happened correctly, because he did sit down with, I believe, Rowan and Ava about
this.
Yes.
And they both said, don't talk to Ariana first.
And then he tried to throw them under the bus.
He said, I met with them and I gave them a heads up.
No, you fully asked for their advice and you sort of asked for permission and they told
you what to do.
And you did the exact opposite.
And now you're in a weird, sticky situation with Ariana.
And I hope Ariana, I'm, I'm glad Ariana as a friend.
I'm glad she saw through that, that she was like, this is not something Rowan and Ava
would do.
First of all, I'm sure she's like, Rowan does not know who Hudson is.
And I write like, like, exactly like she's still figuring it out.
Honestly, she's like still figuring out people's names.
Yeah, I think like Brooke probably was like, Brooke, she was probably like, how was the
night?
She's like, good.
I love that.
We got to see her man a little bit, though.
Yeah, that was fun.
Their tarot card reading was kind of fun.
I love that she was like, I was drunk, but I believed every single second of it.
She was telling, because the woman, the tarot card reader, shout out to her.
She seemed very enthusiastic about her job.
And it seemed like maybe some of what she was saying wasn't super connecting with Rowan,
but she was like, I needed that.
Like she was so polite to her.
I love Rowan so much.
I really do like her.
She's, she's quirky.
She's kooky.
She's fun.
She's a little bit aloof.
But like, and I say that with love, like in a really, I don't know, just cute way.
Yeah.
I like her.
I think she's been a really good addition to the cast.
She brings like light and levity and a brightness.
And we need that because there's a lot of like dark sided going on and a lot of drama.
A lot, a lot of drama.
Now, do we think Candy called Riley and was like, you are going to have to fly home for
a conversation?
Potentially.
Yeah.
I don't.
That's what we were theorizing last week.
It was like, Riley wasn't just visiting family.
She was like going home to, you know, to have a come to Jesus moment with Candy Burris.
Yeah.
Because she, she just needed a reset.
I think she just needs it.
Sometimes you just need your mama.
Yeah.
And I feel, and I feel that Riley just seems to be like, just like feeling a lot of her
feelings.
Very sensitive right now.
Very sensitive.
And I think, I mean, it's not an easy beat.
Like, cause these kids are kids.
Like, you know what I mean?
Like Riley's like 22.
Yeah.
Maybe.
Very, very young.
I forgot how Harji and Ariana are so young.
Yeah.
They really are.
So I know.
So hope that we see her next week.
I know.
We miss you Riley.
Yeah.
Cause I mean, she does bring a lot of mess to the show.
Oh yes.
And I guess next week we're going to see how Amira and Charlie shake this out.
We'll see what happens.
I mean, they figure out a way, like I said, they're cool right now.
I, it's just, you know, as a viewer watching Charlie operate the way he does and knowing
Amira and loving Amira so much and being such a fan of hers, do you really need Charlie
in your life?
She doesn't need him.
You know?
We'll see you next week.
