Paws and Pals: Benji is a small pup with a big personality

You know that sound it's time for Paws and Pals and today Lauren and Marcy from Best Friend Dog and Animal Adoption is here to tell us all about Benji who knows I have treats that's why he's not paying attention to the camera here you go ladies tell us a little bit about Benji he's so sweet. So Benji we have some discrepancy on his age but we think he's about six years old he was a stray in North Jersey and he's super sweet and loving. How long has he been with you guys? About three months. Three months now and still no adoption? No adoption he's been up on Pet Finder and he loves older children over 13. He could go into a home with older kids, adults, loves other dogs as long as they're a little bit calm. Yes, respectful. Yes, very respectful, mild-mannered. Oh my goodness. He would do great in a home with a yard. He loves to hang out in the yard, bask in the sun. Very treat motivated. Very treat motivated. I love that. Great on leash. He has a good personality. How much does he weigh? He's like 14 pounds. He looks bigger than he actually is with all his fluffy fur. We don't really know what breed he is so. Oh my gosh. Alright so the perfect family would be someone with a yard, older children. Home a lot. Home a lot to spend time with him. He does love to cuddle. I was going to say is he a cuddler? Yes, he's a cuddler. He loves to follow you around the house so whatever you're doing he's doing with you. Alright let's go ahead and get this little scruffy guy adopted. It's so funny because his white fur makes him look like he's so old. He has a lot of energy though. Alright let's go ahead and get Benji adopted or maybe any of the other dogs you see right there on your screen from Best Friend Dog and Animal Adoption. We have that information on our website at news12.com. Thank you so much for being here and Benji we're gonna find you a home but first we're gonna need to get a little bit of a forecast of what's going on. I know Benji's gonna go outside today for a nice little walk but we've got to be careful with our pets in this air quality. It actually affects them a little bit more so. They have a bigger breathing rate than us humans right so faster breathing rate means that they could ingest more of that smoke in a greater quantity so just be careful with your pets outside. Limit their time outdoors as well.
