Until 11 a.m. So do hope you'll come join us say hello and it looks like it's
gonna be a good morning for it Tucker. I know it's still gonna be hot but nothing
like what we're experiencing today. Get some ice cream today to help you cool
down. There you go get some ice cream. Yeah tomorrow morning we should be dry most
importantly but we will still be on the warm side. I think the the wildfire smoke
is biggest factor the next 48 hours. Also want to throw it out there storm
Saturday afternoon but today 99 with some smoke so take it easy. Absolutely
thanks Tucker. All right Marissa I'll send it over to you. It sounds like you
guys have some fun guests. Yeah I'm not gonna be able to take it easy at all
and Tucker's gonna join as well. You are in for a very special kid edition of the
Marissa Mitchell show. It is a total kid takeover today on the Marissa Mitchell
show from calling the shots in our production booth to a toddler going viral
for his love for the Metro to a live performance from team Violidence. They
are bringing major fun, major energy and I just cannot wait to get started. So I'm
not gonna wait any longer. Come on out, come on out my guest co-hosts, come on.
On the count of three, are you ready? You're gonna say let's go when I count to
three. Ready? One, two, three, let's go.
I believe that children are the future. Teach them well and let them lead the way.
Show them all the beauty. This tiny Todd has melted hearts online and now he is ready to melt
yours. The Bowie Maryland two-year-old went viral for his big dream to ride the
Metro. He is stopping by to tell us all about it and his grandparents here with
them. They're gonna recap the ride that has made him famous. Scan the QR code to
send that family a question or a comment. We love to hear from you M-Squad so keep
all of those messages coming. Well that's very special duo of Violinist. They're
gonna perform live. They're older now, still teams though. They're also gonna
talk about how music education has changed their lives. And dessert before
lunch. Well I guess we can do it today because it's all about the kids. Nina's
cookie explosion. They are here with some creative and fun cookie combos to shake
up snack time. Let's get started by first taking a trip back. So when I was a kid,
five years old, in fact holding a mic, I found my love for hosting television way
back then. Still doing it to this day and I had the opportunity to share that love
for the journey, for the path with some very young and special people who
toured our station. Some kids and teens with the Youth Leadership Institute.
They visited us and they saw how we do television both on camera and behind the
scenes. Thank you so much to the women of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority
Incorporated, Romu Omega Chapter in D.C. for running that great program and
bringing them by. Now to my first guest and one of the cutest viral videos on
all the Internet.
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier.
We used to be.
This video shows the first time two year old heiress rode the metro. He
talked about wanting to ride the train so often that his grandparents give to
finally take him to do it. A metro operator noticed little heiress and
stopped by to say hello. This video went viral, earning nearly 60,000 likes and
counting in just a matter of weeks. So I have to share this cuteness with you to
kick off our kid takeover show. Let's bring out heiress. Let's bring out his
grandparents. They were joining us here from Bowie, Maryland, and he gets cuter
and cuter by the minute. Thanks for coming. That Rodney and Michelle Green
here. Hi, friendly. I heard he was a little nervous in the green room.
Well, hello. He's talking. I want to get again to invite you all into this
conversation. Scan the QR code to send us your questions and your comments to
this family. How did all of this happen? When did you first notice
that heiress here love the metro? Well, it actually started from his
babysitter, and she always have Thomas toys. The Thomas, the train toys, and it
just grew from there. I mean, he then he started wanting to watch train shows on
TV, but real trains. He saw the passenger train on there, and we told
him, Oh, that's the metro. And then he's like, I want to watch the metro train
too. Yeah, this video here, Rodney. I'm sure when you all posted it, you
didn't know it was gonna blow up the way that it did. Yeah, I really didn't
know what was going on, taking them into the train ride. I just got off the
metro. My wife said, Hey, we're going back. And I was like, Okay, yeah, let's
do it. And it was worth it. So many people reached out saying, Hey, we're
super excited. He's going to be on the show today. That video brought me so
much joy. It's something you don't often see the joy of a child in that
way, and it even took them back to their own childhoods when they love
trains and everything else. There were a lot of comments about that. People
were remembering when they rode the train with their grandparents, and it
was the love and the outpour of everybody from that video was just
amazing, and it was a little overwhelming. We didn't expect it at
all. So what is the reaction from Metro? What? What has that been like? So
they, um, I guess they have a post where they post the video it and then,
you know, they had a lot of, um, their workers saying, Yeah, that's Metro.
That's Metro. Metro, you know, do. So, yeah, that's what we got from him. So
Eris, how are you? Good. You like trains?
Oh, he like what? Big train steam train. Big steam train. Yeah, he knows the
difference that too. Yes, he does. Do you like cartoon trains?
He likes cartoon train. I think I can. I think I can. That was mine for me
up the hill. I think also it's a testament of finding that joy in a kid
from a young age and pouring into that you all are representing and that and
the train conductor, I believe his name was Brian Newman. Yeah, he was. He was
excellent. We came up to the when we rode up the escalator, we were getting
off and he immediately recognized it was his first train ride and said, Hey,
little man, it's your first train ride. Hey, Eris, what do trains do?
They do choo choo.
Thanks.
Say it one more time.
Hey,
Oh, yes, darling. When you all were filming, did you speak with any of the
other commuters? There are people standing around where people are
curious to know what was happening. No, not not at all. There weren't. So he's
in the front car.
He was on the front car. Yeah, and he has to be on the front. Yes. Okay. Talk
to me about this special bond that you all clearly have with your grandson. Um,
I guess it was having, you know, a grandchild. You always try to, you know,
do the best. We got to have a lot of energy to my mom. Great. He's our only
grandchild. And so loving his mother as much as we do it, there's, you know,
you're going to love their Children as well. Um, and he's just, he, he's our
only grandchild. So he's getting all the love, all the love, all the attention
that he needs and deserves and attention. Absolutely. Checking out our
studios. So we love to see him roam and then do it. Listen, he's a toddler. Yes,
he is. Okay. I would like to try to control him a little bit. Show a kid
takeover. He's getting the party started, right? So this is, this is
awesome for Eric. Has he been back on the train since? No, he has not. So we're
trying to get him, you know, to another type of train. I guess he likes the
steam engines. Um, I think he did the christmas train and the polar express.
Christmas train. He did that before too. Yeah. So, um, I guess we tried to
figure out what we're gonna get a steam train for. Frostburg. We're gonna do
that. That would be excellent. He's gonna go. Yes. Buzzer. Yeah. Does he
have any other interests? I mean, I could see him having his own train
company one day if he wanted to. But what else does he enjoy? So, um, he
likes spider man. So I get, there's a new spider man movie coming out. I get
shot with webs all the time. When I, when I do something that he doesn't
like, you know, spider man can ride trains too.
My train.
The guy like rain. Yeah. Protect people from trains. You can spider man can do
whatever he puts his mind to doing. Yes. Yes. So what's next for you all in the
family? I'm sure a lot of people are gonna call you and blow you up at
today's interview. I don't know. Try to, you know, do the best we can with
raising him. Um, we're not his parents, so we rely on their guidance. His
mother is in our green room and she had a conversation. She's like, listen, I
will come in and watch to make sure he's okay. I think he'll be fine. And
he proved me right. Right. Harris, high five. Oh, thank you. He's so friendly.
He's a sweet boy and we're so proud of him. One more time. What do trains do?
Sure.
That's true. That's it. Yes. That's a fast train. Thank you all so much for
coming. Thank you so much. Take their questions, their comments. There are
amazing follows online, so make sure you do that as well. In a testament to
family. Family. Absolutely. When our kids take over, hits the hot sheet as
well. Can you guess how many parents said your little ones are making
unauthorized purchases on their phones? Well, parents, let me tell you, set a
password. Not now, but right now we're gonna get into those numbers with my
kid co host keeper in Tatum and their parents are here. Chloe's here. Javon is
here to help us break down the numbers.
Just wait until you see who these two kid violinists grew up to be. The now
teenagers give us a live performance. So good. It's gonna give you chills and
later kids with them running the show. I think cookies can count as breakfast
today. We're gonna hit the kitchen to meet the teen entrepreneur behind Nina's
cookies explosion.
Well, this is a kid takeover. We had to have a kid approved hot sheet today for
this show. I'm back with my guest co host. I have Tatum here at Kiefer Tatum's
father. Javon is back and Kiefer's mom, Chloe. You must be so proud. Oh, yeah,
definitely. Definitely. So proud. So proud. Proud parents. So fun to be with
them today. All types of reunions and meet ups today. I heard you hung out
with a very famous person. People over the weekend. Is that true? Tatum? Yes,
that is true. Oh, can you tell me what one of the people's names starts with?
Uh, I say CB, CB. Let's take a look.
That is CB for Chris Brown. Ladies and gentlemen, R and B superstar meeting
Tatum here. You also met Usher. I call him Ursa, baby.
Before you were around, how did all of this happen with her at the concert and
the freestyling? Yeah, her freestyle went viral and just from there, it
literally just took off. So shout out to Chris Brown team, Usher team for
coming together and letting baby girl had that beautiful, wonderful
experience. Oh, man. So Tatum, take me backstage because I didn't get to go
backstage. I did go to the show, but I didn't meet Chris Brown or Usher. What
was it like when you walked back there and met him? Tell us all about it. When
they were back, it was like so amazing. We had to wait in a long, long and can't
y'all believe it was after party and y'all didn't invite me to start? There's
no party without you, Tatum. How dare they? How dare they? Never again. That
was okay because Usher, he was on the back of his gold car. And I was like,
thank you for the tickets. It was just so chill and I was so excited. And
then literally after, after I just went to come up on Usher real fast, Chris
Brown walked out. Oh, my gosh. You didn't pass out? Because I probably
would have. I would have fainted. Sam, Sam, on the floor. I had too much energy
to pass out. She was so excited. I'm super excited. Looks like they were
happy to do it too, Devon, which is the best part as a parent. Yes, yes. They
made us feel very welcome. It took very good care of baby girl. You see her
ended up on one of those big stages one day. I know she raps, she sings, she
acts. Oh, yeah. Yep. I tell her all the time when we go there, I said, that's
gonna be you in a couple of years. Manifestation. That's what we do. There
you go with Kiefer. We got something really special coming up for you too
in just a bit. A little birdie told me you want to be like someone who works
here and a good friend of mine. So we're gonna do that in a bit. First,
though, our next topic. Congratulations. Thank you. You'll want to lock your
phones after this one because nearly half of parents said their kids
surprised them by making unexpected purchases with so called invisible
money. If there's some invisible money on the road,
that digital non cash payments, in app purchases and online transactions.
This study was from bread financial. Okay, just just just here. Have you
ever made purchases online on your parents phones? Not listening. You
know, tell the truth. No, no, no. Have you?
Tatum's not talking.
That means that was a baby. Watch out.
But did you all put protections on your phones just in case? Yeah,
yeah. Sometimes we let Kiefer add to the Amazon cart. I'll say, like,
just put it in there. So I know if we have something coming up, you know,
I know what you like, but no, no, no purchases are allowed without Kiefer
Tatum. I know you both follow the rules, but for kids who do use their
parents phones and buy things on them hot or not, is it a hot with the flame
or not? No, absolutely not. I mean, I'm going to say a hot because they're
smarter than I was at that end. Oh, I'm like, it's not sticking with her
flame. Yes, girl. Maybe her maybe and flame are Thomas everything. She
doesn't spill the tea. I'm not reading to kids. Is that an all time low?
Unfortunately, the reason why well, Gen Z parents reportedly think it's
boring. Just 41% of kids four years old and younger are read to frequently.
That number used to be 64% 14 years ago. So I want to know, did your
parents read to you? I'm assuming. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. What was some of the
books, Kiefer? We love to play elephant. That's one of my dad's all time
favorites. The noisy book back when you were Harris's age. Do you remember
the noise? Oh, yeah. Yeah. She do voices and stuff. Is your mom really
getting the character of the extra? She's a former kindergarten teacher,
I brought the read aloud voice to the bedroom. I was like, good night here.
We're getting into character. It's also to today about celebrating our youth.
That's why you are all here. So I want to bring out our chief meteorologist
Tucker Barnes. What's happening?
One day we got a budding weather star here, right? How are you? Good. So you're
interested in weather right here? Yep. Okay. The magic to weather is like,
it's like a wand. It's called a clicker. And I actually, I control the weather
with this. So I'm gonna let you hold it if you want. I'm gonna warn you. It's
magical. It's like a, it's like a sword. All right, we're gonna bring up a map.
Kiefer, you ready? We're gonna talk weather. You ready to talk? Okay. What
do you think about the heat? It's hot. Okay, wait, save it for until we bring
it up. Now you can say, all right, it's your takeover. Tell me about the
pretty hot. We got some smoke in michigan and the northeast. That's kind
of, it's making us some haze, which is hurting my throat personally. Wait a
minute. You're too good at this. Okay. I don't, I don't want to have my, feel
like my job's in jeopardy. It's supposed to be like teaching you the ropes.
No kidding. Keep going. You're doing great. Keep talking. I mean, I'm not a
big fan of this, this smoke. No, you shouldn't be. No, it's not cool. Yeah,
code orange air quality later this afternoon. And you know what? It might
be a red air quality, which is unhealthy air quality tomorrow. Okay,
how about the heat? Uh, you hit the pool or like, what are you doing? Stay
cool. Pool, pool 24 7 for me. Okay. Any recommendations for people at home
that are dealing with the heat? Popsicles. I love popsicles are great.
Anyone in particular? No, any popsicle pushups, any flavor, anything as from
we don't discriminate against flavors. All right. Any secret family methods to
stay cool in the summertime? You guys, you know what, you know, wet, damp
cloth around the forehead or anything like that. I mean, obviously pool was
definitely a cheat because everything I annoyed you junior weather forecaster
here at Fox five.
Keep up the good work. One day this will all be yours. Like one day soon. I'm
killed it. Our next meteorologist, meteorologist in the making. Well, you
still have some time to send two year old, a two year old heiress who went
viral for loving the metro. He's still here with his grandparents are going
to read your messages and your questions after this quick break.
And I have another co host. I'm back with two year old heiress. He loves
metro trains. You want to say anything to the people? Choo choo.
He was doing it during the commercial break. He's here with his grandparents,
Michelle and Rodney Green. We got all of your questions and comments coming in.
So let's read some of them and react to them. Thank you guys. The M squad for
writing. Kennedy says, give a little heiress the mic heiress. What do you
have to say to the world?
He's looking at the mic. He's really happy to be here. He's been walking
around the studio taking in all of these lights. It's been a great
experience and he's been on great behavior too. I think he's a model two
year old to be on live television for the first time. R R says, what is his
favorite color? He was too cute. Can you all answer that for us? His favorite
color is pink, pink. Yes. And what was the other question? And his favorite
color is pink. Definitely pink, pink, pink. So he says it for himself. Let's
get another question in here. Thank you so much. He likes red and he likes red,
pink and red. Cindy asked, is he an only child? I love his energy. He is an only
child and he gets all of our attention. He has, uh, they're five adults and he
is, he gets every, all of our attention. I think he's one of the adults when he
wants to be. He's running things for sure. You all, thank you so much for
coming. I really enjoyed you and I learned a long time ago, never give up
the mic, never give it up. Thank you. Errors for coming. Thank you. So thanks
for having us. Say you're welcome. All right, we'll get ready to vibe to some
live violinists as well. After the break, two teams will show off their
skills in studio for us. High ladies with an in studio performance and
they're going to also share how music has impacted their lives. I have just
enjoyed all the youth on today's show. It's so much fun. And if you know me,
you know, I love music. Our kid takeover continues now with the magic that
can happen when you expose Children early on to the arts. Violinist Eileen
Maloney Cunningham is here and Jesse, we will to perform a very special
performance. Ladies, take it away. Thank you.
Wow. You make it look so effortless and impossible at the same time. I love it
and I have more friends with me today. I'm here with founder of Amari learning
and keepers mother, Chloe Kaplan and internationally acclaimed violinist way
land. You've talked to him. Well, well, actually, uh, Jesse is my student and
I mean, it's my friend student and they're from the uh, the inflation
academy. Incredible ladies. What does it feel like when you're playing the
violin? We know what it sounds like for us, but what's going through your heart
and mind when you're connecting with the music? Yeah. So for us, it's kind of
like speaking a language. Like when we play, we're like sharing different
parts of us, but it's also just communication. Eileen, how long have
you been playing? I've been playing since I was three. So almost 15 years
now. Almost your whole life. Yeah, pretty much. Yeah. And you've seen this
connection to music through Amari learning. This is this is amazing. So
long before Amore, even which just turned 10. Um, I taught ways twin
daughters, Leve and Junia, and they were my first students after college. So
my first year of teaching, I was teaching English and they had just
moved here from Iceland. They spoke Icelandic Chinese and I'm not, but not
English. And so I, I met them when their, their main language was music
truly. Um, and then I soon after met way and we had an instant connection. She
taught them everything they know about music, passion, discipline, and so much
else. Um, so we've been close. They're like my little sisters now. And, um,
yeah. And when things want a Grammy, I mean, we should say that she's a Grammy
winner and they're amazing. And Junia is her creative director. They're just the
talent runs really deep and it really, it all starts, starts here. What's it
do for you to watch your, you know, Children and other Children, you know,
grow up from your tutelage and live out their own dreams because you took the
time, right? Right. She did. Yeah. I think the music education really does
that. And it's just very, very slow burning work. Slow burn, I would say,
but it's really rewarding and really needed. I know a lot of school programs
all over the country are cutting cuts, uh, to music and that's one of them.
But, um, I can, I'm not playing currently, but I play the trumpet. There's
so many things, just not how to play, but teamwork, listening, math, counting,
reading music. All of that. Yeah. Yeah. It's amazing. Levee and her foundation
are doing a lot to support music education in schools. So I love that
you just called that out. It's, um, it's very needed right now. All right. So
Jesse, what's next? What's next for you? Where do you see yourself? Maybe on a
Grammy stage with a Grammy one day. Is that the ultimate? Yeah. Well, you're
off to
that's crème de la crème of what you do just to be seen by Juilliard. I know. I
know. Wow. Congratulations. Eileen, how about you? Um, well, I'm off to Yale
next year. Um, yeah, I just, I really want to continue music, particularly
chamber music, because that's how, like, I best connect with my friends and my
family. So I just want to keep it as big a part of my life as possible because
it's really like my biggest joy. Okay, well, when you win your Grammys and all
of the other awards, please stop by and share with us. Let me take a peek or
hold one. Yes. Ladies, thank you so much for coming. Congratulations on all of
the things. Keep up the incredible work. Get ready now to roll up your
sleeves. Our kids take over continues, but I just want to get a little bit
messy, but in the best way, because up next, we're gonna make learning fun with
some interactive stem projects that your kids will love. I got more kids
here. We're gonna have fun with that. Then after that, a sugar rush is on the
way for the kids as well. The young entrepreneur behind Nina's cookies
explosion. She is in our kitchen revealing a creative dessert. And
here's a sneak peek, a unique twist on potato chips and chocolate. Let that
set in. We'll be right back. Our kids take over just hit education with a fun
hands on project. The founders of a local stem program offer fun and
interactive stem activities for the kids. The brains behind lots of love
Michelin lot and May White are here and they brought helpers. I was gonna say
a little helpers, but you're big helpers today. We got Kelly, Jackson
and Zoe. Thank you for coming. And apparently I'm gonna take part in
something. Lots of love and how you all came up with it. Yeah, absolutely. So
lots of love started off as babysitting. And from there we were like, well,
these kids are bored. We already have a stem background, so why not add stem to
it? From there we have expanded to free classes, to working with programs, to
working with community events and things like that. So yeah, and then also
babysitting to at least I saw that you've incorporated it. Absolutely. We
call it stem sitting. Okay, give them something to do while they're waiting.
There we go. What has been the best part of starting this? Oh my gosh, I would
definitely say connecting with the community ever since we really locked
in and say, you know what? The community needs the exposure. We need to make it
accessible. I feel like the children have really came across and found joy
in stem and learning. Just knowing what's out there, exposure is everything.
Absolutely. I thought the young people you brought today, they took part in one
of the community events and that's how you all connected. Absolutely. You look
really happy to be here. You are? Yes. What have you learned so much and so far
through lots of love? Like a lot of arts and crafts and stuff. Arts and crafts?
That's good. What have you learned? I learned everything. I just love arts and
crafts. I like to paint. I like to learn. I like science. Oh wow, she likes science. I love that.
And she said it with conviction too. We need more girls and guys in stem. Hi
Jackson. What do you like about, is that Play-Doh? What do you like about being a
part of this program? What makes it fun? Like doing the science activities. Yeah,
doing the science activities and doing it on television as well. So ladies, walk
me through what you brought today and what we're gonna learn. Absolutely. So we
have a few things set up here and we're gonna start at our science table because
that's one of our favorite things to do for sure. The first thing we're gonna do
is we're going to look at some chemical reactions. Oh, I remember this from the lab. Absolutely. So we're
gonna ask you, what color is this? It looks purple, dark purple would you say?
Purple, violet. Okay, okay, we have two. She was very specific on that one. We have two. Are they the same? They look the same to me. Maybe.
I'm gonna say they're the same. So we're gonna add two separate powders into these to see
actually what happens. Are you ready? I'm ready. Now, a part of STEM is we have to
wear protective gear. So one thing that we're gonna do is we're going to make
sure that everyone has goggles. So all of my friends, I have mine, Jackson has his.
Okay, my favorite color is purple, so I'm gonna get some purple goggles. Purple ones. Now, we are going to put the
powder inside of here. Let's see. Have you all seen one of these before? Yes. Oh, so you already know what's going to happen.
It's been a long time since I've seen it. I don't know what to expect. Should I be afraid? No. No? I should be excited? Yeah. Okay, I'll be excited then.
Alright, so we're going to take this and I want you to pour it into one of the flasks. Okay, one. Just one. Which one should I pour? This one?
Okay, I'm gonna take their word for it. There's one. And Zoe, can you give it a
little bit of a twirl? Let's see what's happening here. A little bit more. Looks
at. We're going to add another powder. And this powder looks similar, right? Yes. So, let's see. Is it the same white powder? They're both white, right? It looks the same. It looks the same. We're gonna add this to the other flask.
Want me to do the honors too? Sure do. Okay, so let's see what kind of reaction we get from this one. Alright, and Jackson. Jackson, get in there. Yeah, give it a little swirl, Jackson. See what's happening. Swirl it up for us. See what's happening.
Our kids don't like the loud noises. They don't like the explosions, and that is okay. STEM is for everyone. It's not just exclusive to loud noises and eruptions, although we do like that.
We like to play with our students. And you do it for all ages? Lots of love? Absolutely. We start at two years old. We can even go younger as one, because STEM is not just for our older kids.
All right. So we are going to make our specialty cookie, the Nina's Cookie Explosion. So in this bowl, we have our sugar base and we're going to add in the three special ingredients. So first, we have a classic chocolate chip. Let's put this in.
Okay. Well, can I come over one time when you all are baking? Because you all live on the bakery at Granddad's house. What about you, Tayden, when you get to make, do you make desserts and stuff?
Yes, I do. It was like around wintertime and it was a little freezing. I had to go to my mom and I was like, Mom, come on, let's make our special favorite cookie. So we went to the grocery store. It was freezing cold. I was, uh-uh.
We grabbed some cookies and it was like the, it was like a Gwendolyn. And we put them in the oven, baked them for like 20 minutes or something. And it was ready and it was so good. It was bustin' down. We need some whipped cream on it.
Oh, you got some vanilla ice cream, too? Because I love vanilla ice cream with my cookies. They both know what's up, Nina. They do. So once you mix all this up, this is basically our concoction, our explosion of flavors that we put together.
Yep. And then we're going to put it in the oven and then boom, we get some Nina's cookie explosion.
This is TV magic. You all want to try the cookies? You want a cookie?
Yes. I read online that people can make their own combinations.
Yes. So you can mix and match the doughs and toppings, make any cookie you want. And then we sell it as cookie and cookie dough online. We also do free delivery. So you don't even have to leave your house.
Cookies this good, I want.
Thank you so much for coming.
We'll be right back with more of our kids takeover.
This is good.
Where did Tatum and Kiefer go? We were just in the kitchen eating cookies from Nina's cookie explosion. They were supposed to be co-hosting with me today, but wait a minute. They're in the control room. Let me head in here and see.
Now, Kiefer, Tatum, you found producer Victoria. This is producer V, who I'm always talking about. You stole my co-host.
And they're stealing my job.
I love to. This is pretty cool.
They're producing.
Oh, you get to see where the magic happens.
Yep.
You're teaching back here too.
I am. So this is our rundown. So you can see every part of the show right here.
This is kind of crazy.
It's a lot. It takes a lot of people, a lot of computers, a lot of cameras to make all of this stuff happen each and every day on the news.
And we always watch the clock. So right now I'm watching the clock count down to 57, and that's when I know to wrap her.
So these that we wear here on television, I'm listening the whole time. I'm listening to Victoria give me cues. I can even hear commercial breaks on it, and it helps me to do what I do. And I hear your mics too. Everything right here in my ear.
That's why it was echoing.
She said that's why it was echoing. Yes, Tatum, you are right. What have you been just most fascinated by so far that you all have seen since you all left me in the kitchen all by myself?
Personally, I love the green room.
Oh.
I know it's over there, but it's cool.
I passed the green room walking in here to our control room, and there's so much, Victoria, that happens there.
There is.
We've had reunions, former teachers running into students who are now grown. Some relationships have come out of the green room, and that's where their parents are and other people who come into the show.
They kind of hang out there before we bring them on air.
They do. So, Tatum, in 30 seconds, you're going to tell Marissa.
So, see how it says 11-56-30 up? It's going down. It's going to go to 57 when you say 11-57-00.
When you see that on the screen, you're going to say wrap.
And that means I have to finish up this segment and go to a commercial break.
Are you going to be ready?
All right. Ready?
Countdown.
In 5, 4, 3, 2.
Make sure you say it so she can hear.
1.
Wrap!
Okay, because Tatum just told me to do so.
We'll be right back with your M note on the Marissa Mitchell Show Kid Takeover.

We got parents here as much as I did.
We have more fun on the way for a Friday edition of the Marissa Mitchell Show, including an exclusive.
