She's like trying to get Yvonne to apologize to her
in this situation when she's the one
that kind of like caused chaos at the wedding
or didn't step in for her best friend.
So I feel like it can be a little tricky
if you decide to stand up to Lindsey.
Whitney Fransway from In The City.
I am such a fan of yours.
I was just telling you I've been following you
since your days on The Bachelor
and now you're back on reality TV, In The City.
The finale is this week.
How do you feel to be back on reality TV?
Did you ever imagine that you'd be a Bravo leopardy?
I honestly didn't.
I did not think that I'd be back on reality TV to be honest.
Kenny was the one that kind of like had this opportunity
to come to us together
and it was something we definitely discussed
but I would have never thought
that I would be in this position being on Bravo
just sharing my whole life.
Has it been fun?
Because the experience as a viewer,
especially for myself as a viewer,
I've really felt for you
because it seems like you haven't had the easiest go
filming your first season of In The City.
Obviously you've had Kenny to be there by your side
which we love to see
but it's been a challenge for the girls
to connect with you.
Honestly, I feel like it just takes time.
Friendships takes time and also like I'm walking in,
I was walking into this friend group
that has so much history
and so these bonds are really deep between the girls.
So I think that that just takes a little bit of time
and I feel like I can also be a little bit quiet
and tell people get to know me too.
So I think from both ends, it's just taken some time.
It's nice that you have that mindset though.
Like you can acknowledge that they have a deeper bond
or a deeper friendship
and you're walking into something completely new
and different for you
but also different for them
because here's a new girl,
she's dating a guy
who lots of people seem to have lots of opinions
about like poor Kenny
has also faced a lot of conflict this season.
He's currently facing more and more conflict
with Lindsey Hubbard on social media.
What is your take on their back and forth?
They cannot stop.
I mean, they both have strong personalities
and I just think that they're always gonna like
stand strong in their opinions
and usually both of them don't agree.
So I think that, you know, we'll see
but I think that they're both pretty stubborn
in their opinions.
Outside, like independent of your relationship with Kenny,
what is your opinion of Lindsey Hubbard?
Because obviously mother Hubbard,
she maybe doesn't have her minions.
Like what she does have is a lot of influence on this group.
So just what is your perspective on the Lindsey of it all
after filming a season with her,
filming a reunion with her
and watching your man continue
to get in social media spats with her?
Yeah, I mean, I think people don't really want
to have an opposing opinion from what she has
because we see how she deals with things.
And I think that it's very head on
and she doesn't really back down.
You even see in the scene with her and Yvonne,
she's like trying to get Yvonne to apologize to her
in this situation when she's the one
that kind of like caused chaos at the wedding
or didn't step in for her best friend.
So I feel like it can be a little tricky
if you decide to stand up to Lindsey.
Oh yeah, no, you got to be brave
if you want to stand up to Lindsey.
Someone who is kind of brave is Danielle.
She stands up to Lindsey, she stands up to Amanda.
She just is really like powering through this season
with like a no given attitude,
which I can kind of appreciate
but I do want to get your take
on the pink slash maybe white dress.
She did give Yvonne a heads up, right?
And Yvonne gave her the green light to move forward with it.
Now it did look white on camera.
What did it look like in real life?
It looked light pink in person, to be honest.
I could see how, you know, wearing something
that you are already questioning
maybe wasn't the right decision
but she did send her a picture.
So I don't know.
I feel like maybe if she should have played it safe
by wearing something else
but it did look light pink in person.
Okay, good.
That's good to hear.
And like, also like if Yvonne already said yes,
like, I mean, like it is what it is girl.
Like, I don't know.
How would you describe your relationship with,
like who do you think you are the closest
with amongst the girls currently?
I would say Lexi and Yvonne.
They're two girls that I've really grown a friendship
with in the last few months.
I really connect with Danielle too.
And not really being a part of all the history
with the girls with Danielle.
She just seems like she's in a really good place
and I love her and Owen together.
And I've definitely connected with her too.
And not having that history with this group,
the experience of Amanda Batula
must've been really interesting for you to witness IRL,
to process the Summer House scandal,
and then, you know, film with her
and then see her at the reunion for In The City.
What are your thoughts on Amanda continuing
her In The City journey after exiting Summer House?
Do you want her to come back for another season?
I would, I mean, I would love Amanda to come back.
I feel like I definitely was getting to know her.
I feel like she can be a little bit more guarded
in her personal life.
So it's taken a little bit more time,
but I've really loved getting to know her.
And I think that she deserves a spot in In The City
if she wants to come back.
And if she's still dating Wes when filming resumes,
does he deserve a spot on In The City?
Because that would be a little crazy.
I mean, honestly, it would be pretty crazy.
I have my own outside opinions about it, obviously.
I think it would create a lot of chaos, for sure.
I think people are gonna be protective over Amanda
and I could see myself being protective over her too,
but I don't know him.
So TBD, if they'll make it.
Georgina was telling us that at the premier party
for In The City, she had urged Amanda to break up with Wes.
And Amanda didn't necessarily reject the idea,
according to Georgina, but maybe she wasn't listening.
Would you also urge Amanda to maybe call it quits with Wes
and just focus on herself?
Could that be beneficial for her?
Yeah, I mean, I think for sure.
I think he has this track record
and kind of keeps making these same mistakes.
So I don't think that he's changed.
So, you know, I think we've all been in a relationship
at some point, probably when you're younger,
where you're like, tunnel vision,
I don't care what anyone else says,
I'm gonna do what I want anyways.
And I think she kind of needs to learn this the hard way.
I think that we've all kind of made comments to her
and have opened up about what we think
would be best for her.
But I think ultimately she needs to make
that decision for herself.
And I think time will show her that.
Yeah, now, despite any criticism
that your relationship has received,
I love that you and Kenny are sticking through it,
standing by each other's side,
because I really do see you two as a match.
I see it.
I don't know if the rest of your cast mates are catching on,
but I truly, I think you guys are the real deal.
You know, we are coming to a close
on season one of In The City,
but what are some sort of like standing misconceptions
about your relationship with Kenny
that you would like to clear up?
I mean, honestly, we have amazing communication.
Maybe you didn't see that at the beginning of the season,
but we've had all these conversations.
We've had the conversations about the spark of the future,
which maybe shouldn't have used spark.
But, you know, even with his dad's story,
I think our relationship's done a 360
since even we started filming the show,
because his dad's relationship with him
has like healed a part of him
that he didn't even really know that he was carrying.
And I think that it showed him
that like not everyone leaves in your life.
And I think that really like helped his abandonment wound.
And I think it's really brought us closer
and deepened our relationship
and like even just talks for the future.
To see them reconnect on screen,
Kenny and his dad was so emotional
and so touching and so beautiful.
And it was also beautiful to see
how helpful you were in that process.
Like you were team Kenny, let's find your dad.
Yeah, I'm like leave it up to the girls.
The girls will get it done.
And it's crazy that it just like,
y'all got it done.
We don't really ever see that happen.
Like we've seen on reality TV before
when people try and find like a long lost parent
or sibling or whatever,
and it just kind of like disappears into the void.
But like, baby, like the next episode, there he was.
Yeah, and I hate that even people were saying
that like this was for TV
because it is crazy that this was happening in real time.
And like, we were sitting on that couch for hours
searching for answers.
And obviously this was over like a few months
of like trying to get answers and chasing answers.
And after his mom passed,
this was something that was on his heart
to reach out and try to see
if he had more family out there.
So it was really lucky
that it was an inspiring ending and a happy ending
because I know that it's not always that.
Yeah, well, I love that you guys had a happy ending.
I love seeing you and Kenny on TV.
I love that you're part of the Bravoverse.
Whitney, thank you so much for taking the time.
I can't wait to see more of you.
Thank you so much.
