Hi everyone, welcome or welcome back to my channel.
So today we are going on a day trip to Hunter Valley with our friends.
It's actually my very first time visiting and I'm really excited about it.
The weather is absolutely perfect today, so let's get this trip started.
We stopped by this beautiful little cafe called Danone to grab some breakfast
and I must say the ambience was so cozy and welcoming.
I'm really loving the way everything is being detailed,
like every little corner is carrying its own charm here.
Winter mornings just feel complete with hot chocolate.
And for food, trying out the Mexican baked eggs and the masala omelette,
which was both suggested by the owner himself.
And I must say they are turning out to be so good, like super flavorful and really delicious.
So if you're ever around, I'd highly recommend giving this place a try.
Trust me, it's such a hidden gem.
So we are entering Pimpajan Winery now, a hilltop estate in Polkovan Hunter Valley.
The name Pimpajan comes from the local indigenous word meaning place of good view.
It's known for its amazing views and really good wines.
We'll be meeting our friends here shortly and of course, we are here for some wine tasting.
So we just made it into the wine tasting area and it seems to be pretty busy today.
We had a booking, so once we got our table,
we went with the owner journey package where you get to pick any six wines from their range.
It's such a fun way to try different wines.
And my favorite is turning out to be from the desert wine range.
I mean, it just hit the spot.
After all that wine tasting, we are heading over to the wood fire pizza spot,
which is just outside the cellar.
It's this cozy outdoor dining area where you get to watch them make
fresh pizzas right in front of you.
Eating all this with such a beautiful view was honestly everything.
And I must say the hummus plate was really delicious.
Once our tummies were full, we went for a little stroll around the area,
just enjoying the views and the vibe.
Another cool thing about Pimpajan is that they offer helicopter tours.
It's such a unique way to see Hunter Valley
with amazing aerial views of the vineyards and the landscape.
Overall, Pimpajan has been such a lovely stop.
We have just arrived at Starline Alpacas here in Broke, Hunter Valley.
It's a working farm where you can meet, feed and get up close with these adorable alpacas.
And I'm super excited because this is actually my first time doing this
and they are just the cutest things ever.
You can grab these little bags of alpaca food from the reception
and it costs $5 per bag.
But bear in mind, they finish it off so quickly.
We had to go back for more, so it's best to grab a few extra.
You're welcome to wander through the designated paddocks at your leisure
and that's exactly what we are doing.
Taking a little stroll around the area.
Honestly, the views are just stunning with the broken back ranges in the background.
It's so peaceful and beautiful out here.
Our final stop of this delightful day trip
brings us to the Hunter Valley Chocolate Company at 2320.
We are wrapping up the day by picking a few assorted chocolates from the collection
and enjoying them outside.
It's been such a lovely day trip and I'm absolutely loving visiting Hunter Valley.
I hope you guys enjoyed coming along.
I'll see you in the next one.
Bye!
