These soft and fluffy raisin buns are so delicious that I stopped buying bakery buns altogether! Made with simple ingredients and filled with sweet raisins, they come out incredibly light, tender, and golden brown every time. Perfect for breakfast, tea time, or whenever you're craving homemade baking.

🥣 INGREDIENTS
For the dough:
• 2/3 cup (150g) warm milk
• 2 1/4 tsp (7g) instant yeast
• 1/4 cup (50g) sugar
• 1 large egg
• 2 1/2 cups (300g) all-purpose flour
• A pinch of salt
• 2 1/2 tbsp (35g) melted butter
• 2/3 cup (90–100g) raisins
For the egg wash:
• 1 large egg
• 1 tbsp milk
To finish:
• Melted butter
👩🍳 INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let sit for 10 minutes.
2. Add the egg and mix well.
3. Add flour, salt, and melted butter. Mix until a dough forms.
4. Stir in the raisins.
5. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
6. Gently deflate the dough and let rise for another 30 minutes.
7. Divide into 6 equal pieces and shape into balls.
8. Place on a baking tray and let rest for 20 minutes.
9. Brush with egg wash.
10. Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown.
11. Brush with melted butter while still warm.
