N&W 611's Summer of Steam Debut

Watch as Norfolk & Western J-class no. 611 plies through the scenic Virginian countryside, snakes through small towns, and works its way up the Blue Ridge Mountains. These clips showcase the first weekend of the Virginia Scenic Railway's Summer of Steam through the Shenandoah Valley. This summer, the 611 is wearing a special red, white, and blue "America 250" stripe for the nation's semiquincentennial anniversary.
