Sometimes it all just becomes overwhelming and I feel like escaping.
Far from big cities to places where I can find some peace.
No structure, no plan.
Just me and the nature.
I guess I'm crazy, crazy, crazy in love.
I get a tingle here to my toes.
But at some point I realized that somehow these memories aren't worth anything
if you have no one to share them with.
It's the connection to others that truly brings the past to life.
Thank you guys so much for watching this video.
I just wanted to tell you about the inspiration of the film
and the equipment I used to get these really cool compression shots.
This time I got inspired by Into the Wild.
This is the book to the movie.
I think some of you have already seen the movie.
It's a movie about a guy, Chris McCandless,
who wanted to escape the society and get to Alaska.
I really like this movie and the loneliness
and this guy who just wanted to see the beauty of the nature and feel it.
So we planned to travel to the West of America
to get these cool, wide, loneless, endless compression shots.
But the problem was the only telephoto lens I got is this one here at home.
And yeah, that's not really useful for light traveling.
But then I found this one here at my parents' house.
That's a Ricoh 50mm 1.4.
And I also found this 2x telephoto adapter.
That means when you adapt it to the lens, you get like 100mm.
And then when you also use the Sony FX30 or any other APC camera,
you got the APC crop.
And this is how I got these super cool compression shots.
I just wanted to say that you never have to buy
some brand new, super epic, expensive ----.
You can also just look around,
check out your family's house or grandparents'
and maybe you'll find some pretty nice gift there.
Alright, let me know in the comments what you think about that one
and I'll see you in the next one.
Haut rein!
