Scenic view Driving to Convict Lake

Convict Lake Road in California Eastern Sierra offers dramatic alpine scenery that often gets called the "Switzerland of California" The road winds through a glaical valley toward the shimmering, crsytal-clear water of Convict Lake, framed by jagged granite peaks.
From late September to mid-October, the canyon explodes with golder and orange aspen leaves against the dark rock and blue water.
