Berry Fool | Easy British Summer Dessert

Hello Folks!
I hope you’re all well. Today I made a delicious berry fool! The perfect Summer dessert in my opinion…the classic combination of berries and cream will always be a favourite with us :)

Everything I used will be below.

What I used - Makes 3/4 desserts

Fresh berries. I used fresh raspberries & strawberries | 400g
White sugar | 3 - 4 Tablespoons

Double, or heavy cream | 400ml
Icing, or powdered sugar | 2 Tablespoons
Maple syrup | 1/2 tablespoon, use 1 teaspoon of vanilla instead if you prefer
Almond extract | 1 teaspoon

A few mint leaves, powdered sugar and strawberries to decorate. You could add crushed meringue or biscuit on top too for a nice texture change :)
