It's mind-blowing! Elon Musk just declared this before First Starship's V3 Launch Debut...
Everything you’ve been waiting for is finally happening right now.
Ship 39 and Booster 19 are fully stacked on Pad 2.
The launch window is officially open.
And with barely 48 hours left on the countdown clock, we are now standing on the edge of the very first Starship launch of the year: Flight 12.
After months of delays, testing, venting, road closures, wet dress rehearsals, and enough schedule changes to make airline passengers feel emotionally prepared, SpaceX is finally approaching the moment of truth.
And honestly, the energy around Starbase right now feels absolutely electric.
This is not just another Starship rollout.
This is the first full Starship V3 stack preparing for launch.
A vehicle larger than the Statue of Liberty.
Powered by 33 engines.
Designed to eventually carry humans to Mars.

Which is still one of the craziest sentences humanity casually says out loud nowadays.
Meanwhile, most of us still lose Wi-Fi signal by walking into the kitchen.
But before this absolute mechanical skyscraper lights up the Texas sky, SpaceX still has several major tasks left to complete.
And yes, naturally, they also delayed the launch again.
Because of course they did.
At this point, Starship schedule changes are basically part of the viewing experience.
On May 19th, SpaceX posted on X that they were “Now targeting launch as early as Thursday, May 21.”
Which probably caused emotional damage to every space photographer already parked near Boca Chica with enough camera equipment to film a Christopher Nolan movie.
Still, only one day later, SpaceX immediately reignited the hype.
The company posted another update saying:
“Starship and Super Heavy V3 moved to the pad at Starbase for final testing and preparations for launch.”

And alongside that update came a collection of stunning photos showing Booster 19 and Ship 39 beginning their final journey toward Launch Pad 2.
But one image stood out above all the others.

A camera mounted beneath one of Ship 39’s flaps captured an unbelievably sharp view during rollout.

The image looked cinematic.

Massive steel surfaces.

Towering hardware.

Perfect lighting.

And enough detail to remind everyone that Starship is not just a rocket.

It is basically a flying skyscraper pretending to be a science experiment.

Even better, this exact camera will eventually livestream reentry views as Starship plunges through plasma heated to thousands of degrees.

Which means at some point soon, millions of people may casually watch a stainless-steel spacecraft falling through literal fire in real time on their phones while sitting in traffic.

Humanity really speedran the future.
