I don't know why I was so nervous Today is a very special day We were waiting for this day since like February our daughter is finally getting a place at a big old place I know it's gonna be awesome We just don't really have a park near where we live and so I think she's been to the park What maybe like three times something like that in the whole 16 months that she's been alive It'll just be so cool. But like now we basically have a park in our backyard. Wait, where are we going? Chick-fil-a You guys are probably wondering where our daughter's at and right now we have we have a babysitter looking after her so that we can Get some work done and then hopefully by the time we are able to finish everything that we have We'll be able to surprise our daughter with her little place I actually took Aspen to the park maybe three weeks ago. Let me tell you what, okay Number one, she doesn't completely know what's going on yet at the park She's like just wanted to run towards the pond the entire time But when we were going down the slide, she was giggling so much And so I'm definitely most excited about the slide and there's actually two slides Alex and I are actually going to try a life hack or like a money hack that we heard at chick-fil-a And so I heard that if you order it's a kid's chicken tender meal It comes with fries and a drink and obviously a toy and then you just add a bun Your whole meal is $7 and like you just make you put the two ticket the two chicken tenders on The hamburger bun and then you add the chick-fil-a sauce and it's basically like you got an adult meal But for only $7, so we're gonna give it a try. We did it We did okay, we didn't record it, but we did it and what did I total come out to $15? $15. Hold it. We'll show you guys the receipt. I don't know why I was so nervous. I don't know I feel like I'm like stealing No, that's on their menu. Like I know I'm just not a kid two adults for 15 45 That's a pretty stinking good chick-fil-a. That's really here's the moment of truth I didn't know whether or not this is enough food for Alex or Courtney easy-peasy. All right, so I got my bun That's a pretty good sized fry for a kid. That's what I said You're gonna put the chicken tendies on the bun two chicken sandwiches a small fry That really doesn't look that small and a diet coke for $7. This is amazing Do you think it was enough food for you? Only time will tell. Yeah, this is great We need to start doing this good work Courtney found a good hack. Thank you We just looked outside and these guys have been working so hard on this playset on the website I'm pretty sure it says it takes two people in between eight to ten hours to build and then it takes one person ten to Twelve hours to build look at the progress here For you guys, it probably doesn't seem like much has happened But I have seen it from the beginning where there was literally nothing there and now It's almost built like I'm looking at all of the pieces of wood here Like this was all just filled with wood and now there's really not that many pieces on the website They have different colors that you can choose from and we chose the blue one We specifically wanted this playset because in their advertising they talk about how this is built to last a childhood Which is exactly what we want. We want all of our kids to be able to play on this But then also in their advertisement they showed an entire football team playing on this playset if you guys know anything about me I love durability and when I buy a piece I want it to last us forever I've talked about that a little bit with like our household furniture. I'm like, oh we're gonna have this forever And so I am stoked. They're doing such a good job. So you can customize it However, you want they have different decals so you can choose do I want the sale? Do I want a cupcake like they have all these different decals you can choose from and then they just give you a bunch of Letters, so we wrote lemonade, but you could do sailing you could write cupcakes You could put your kids name on it You can make this like blue and white if you wanted to we Opted to just keep it blue because I just love the color and then they also had like little accessories over here Like a little lookout tower or up here. We have some steering wheel. Whoa Oh She wants the big slide. All right. Yeah, he just wants to slide This will 100% be our life for the next multiple multiple months. Yeah, maybe we started on the baby slide Yeah, are you having fun? All right, yeah, we won't maybe not go face first Mommy wants to go on the slide again That's so fun, oh my goodness Slide Wait, this is actually so cool how it's holding her up like that Oh, I forgot to mention this little area right here could also be a sandbox. That's so fun The Sun is getting ready to set here and this girl just just wants to keep on climbing up the slide and I would not be surprised if this turns into a daily thing Where we're having a hard time getting Aspen to go back inside. Look at that She goes straight to the slide like Courtney said we've had a long day We celebrated our anniversary today and we went to a really fancy brunch place at a spa in town Super super good There's a lot of food say And then afterwards we went wine tasting. We've just had a long day. It was super good It was amazing. And obviously Aspen just got to try out her new play set, which is so fun.
