Ingredients for Chicken Broccoli Stir Fry:
(Tsp-Teaspoon; Tbsp-Tablespoon)
Boneless Chicken - 300 gms cut into thin strips
For marination:
Salt-1/2 tsp
Black pepper powder-1/2 tsp
Corn flour/starch-1.5 tbsp
Baking soda-1/4 tsp
Dark Soy sauce-1/2 tsp
Oil- 2 tsp
Tempering:
Garlic, fine chopped - 2 tsp (13 gms)
Ginger, fine chopped -1 tsp (8 gms)
Spring onion whites, sliced- 3tbsp
Veggies:
Broccoli florets -1.5 cups (around 100 gms)
Button Mushrooms, sliced into two- 1.5 cups (around 100 gms)
Sauces:
Sriracha chilli sauce - 2 tsp
Dark soy sauce -3/4 tsp
Honey -1.5 tsp
Other Ingredients:
Salt- 1/4 tsp
Pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
Oil- 2 tbsp
Preparation:
Cut the chicken breast fillets into thin strips.
Cut the broccoli into florets, slice the button mushrooms or cut into halves if small.
Fine chop the peeled ginger and garlic, slice the spring onion whites.
Chop the spring onion greens for use as garnish.
Process:
Heat oil in a pan and place the marinated chicken pieces side by side.
Fry for 3-4 mins on high heat till browned. Remove to a plate.
Now in the same pan, add the fine chopped garlic, ginger and spring onion whites.
Mix and sauté for around 2 mins and then add the broccoli florets and mushrooms. Season with salt and pepper .
Mix and stir fry on high heat for around 2-3 mins
Add the fried chicken pieces and all the sauces.
Mix and stir fry on medium heat for around 2-3 mins till browned and coated with sauce
Lastly add the chopped spring onion greens, mix and stir fry for a minute.
