This unique French chateau hasn't changed since 1789! For sale near Bordeaux - Ref.: 104199LMA33

Today we are visiting, I would say, an insane chateau of 2,500 square meters approximately on 70 hectares of land with 45 hectares of wine vineyards and let's go in. It's been basically untouched for decades. This place did host famous people like Duchesse de Berry or Maréchal MacMahon during the French Revolution and they were hosted in that place which cost live to their host basically. And here is a portrait of Victor Louis, the architect that did draw and design this place. You have to imagine that it's only a third, the actual 2,500 square meters are only a third of what it should have been. So that massive place is basically not finished and it's only a third of what it could have been if it was finished but meanwhile revolution happened. Look at those paintings, it's untouched. Famous writer and poet Lamartine, French writer, stayed here and he wrote some letters to Madame Delisle here. It's her portrait and it's even written here. It's such an amazing place, let's go there. We didn't open the shutters but look, everything is as it didn't move for centuries almost. It's been built in the 18th century, right three years before revolution. All the original books are still there, let's go further. That place could be an insane, insane running business, check that, the depth. It's unique, it's really unique. Let's go back. Again, lounge, our final place. Look, it's unchanged since, I don't know, two, three centuries, a bit more than two centuries. So today we won't visit everything because it's too large, it's really too large but just a few parts that are accessible right now for us. It's a dining room I guess, yes, dining room with original plates, yes, we've got all the plates. That's crazy, that's crazy, they kept everything. Let's go upstairs and see what it's like. So the kitchen is downstairs. Wow, oh la la, it's at least 10 meters high, if not more. Original stairs. That painting here is I think 5 meters high, 6 meters high, something like that. It's incredible. Let's see. We've never been here so we don't even know what's behind that door. Bedroom. Look, a little balcony. It's sad that we cannot open the shutters today, we don't have time for that but it's really sad because you've got a view on the Dordogne River which is basically stunning. Look, you can go straight into the stuff. Bathroom, I'd say from the 40s, 30s, 30s, 40s, something like that. Wow, it's a suite. Stay, just like it was centuries ago. Oh la la, I wish we could open the windows now but we don't have time for that. The view must be stunning on Bordeaux and Dordogne. Crazy, that's a crazy place.
