Okay, I'm setting these shrimp to the side, letting all that season get in there and make
these shrimp go, mmm, going to dance for you.
Let's go on and do our wet and dry batter.
Okay, I'm going to need three-fourths cups, about right here, of buttermilk.
Okay, I need one tablespoon of hot sauce of your choice and I'm going to add that into
my three-fourths cup of buttermilk.
Okay, I got one egg that I'm going to crack.
I'm going to add my whole egg in there.
One-fourth teaspoon of that Be Sure to Cook seasoning seasoning blend because that's got
to be seasoning as well.
Then I'm going to whisk this all up.
Now I'm making the dry batter.
I need one-fourth cup of cornmeal and I'm getting one cup of flour and a whole teaspoon
of Be Sure to Cook seasoning blend.
That Be Sure to Season seasoning blend is the bomb.
I'm telling you, it's really good.
We're whisking all of this up, so let's get ready to make our po' boy sauce.
Okay, we have one cup of mayonnaise of your choice.
Okay, two tablespoons of ketchup, one tablespoon of Dijon mustard, add some Worcestershire
sauce, it's one teaspoon, one teaspoon of your favorite hot sauce or whatever hot sauce
you have laying around.
Now we're going to step it up.
One teaspoon of lemon juice, a half teaspoon of the white vinegar.
We have a half teaspoon of the smoked paprika.
We have a half teaspoon of garlic powder and onion powder and kind of mix them together
because it's all going to go in there.
Be Sure to Season seasoning blend and we're using a half teaspoon of that.
Okay, now I'm going to mix all this up and really get it in there, blend it all together.
Okay, we're gonna take this and wrap this up.
After that, we're going to go ahead and we're going to start frying up our shrimp.
Okay, I've got a little pan here.
I'm going to be deep frying this right on our stove.
Okay, I'm going to get a couple of these shrimp and I'm going to stick them into my batter
and I'm going to beat this down, knocking all the juice off here.
I'm going to put this inside my dry batter and I'm going to shake off and I'm going to
place all of these on here.
Then we're going to continue doing all of these shrimp into all these shrimp on that
plate and we're going to take it straight to the fryer.
Okay, these are my hoagie buns, store-bought hoagie buns.
I just put a little bit of butter, open them up a little bit, put a little bit of butter
on here.
We're going to toast these in the oven on both.
You got to keep an eye on these because they will burn.
This is what you're looking for, a nice toasted bun.
Okay, I'm going to start dropping my shrimp into my hot oil.
Okay, got that turned down low.
This is what I'm looking for.
Okay, our shrimp are done and we toasted our buns.
We're going to add a little lettuce at the bottom and we're going to add a couple of
tomatoes also on the bottom.
Me, myself, I want to spice it up with just a little bit of onion.
This is the sauce that we made and we got a spoon.
If you have like a, you can squeeze it on or if you have like a squeeze jar or something
you want to put your sauce in, you can.
Okay, now we got our shrimp, we're going to lay up on here, making it look really pretty.
You know, you need lots of shrimp with this and shrimp are good.
They're hot.
These are very hot and I'm picking these with my hand and I'm like, oh my God, these are
so hot.
I don't know what to do.
I'm going to stack it up off here.
And here are my be sure to cook whole boy sandwiches.
