This Week in Orbit | Incredible 4K Views of Earth from the ISS

This episode features breathtaking views of our planet from Typhoon Sinlaku swirling across the Pacific Ocean to the iconic silhouette of Mount Fuji rising above Shizuoka, Japan. The ISS passes over incredible landscapes, including Scorpion Reef and the Baja Peninsula in Mexico, the Maldives in the Indian Ocean, and the striking Richat Structure in Mauritania, often called the Eye of the Sahara.

You’ll also see dramatic natural phenomena such as Saharan dust sweeping across West Africa, lightning storms over Cameroon, glowing fishing fleets in the South Atlantic, and spectacular sunrises over the UK and Ireland.
