Take a journey around Earth from 400 km above our planet in this week's This Week in Orbit. 🌍

This week's collection travels across six continents and some of the most striking landscapes on Earth, from the frozen waters of the South Atlantic to the islands of the Pacific, the Andes, Patagonia and the Great Barrier Reef.

The episode begins with iceberg A-76c drifting through the South Atlantic, before moving over Brazil, New Zealand, Beijing and Tianjin. Across the week, we capture spectacular lightning storms over Croatia, Sicily, Angola, Nebraska, Nigeria and Cameroon, showing the scale of Earth's weather systems from orbit.

There are also incredible views of cities around the world, including Athens, Valencia, Algiers, Las Vegas, Riyadh, Boston, Baghdad, Dallas, New York City, Sydney, Milan and Paris.

One of the week's standout moments is a meteor streaking over Poland, passing above the region of Łódź and Warsaw. We also see the Sun rising along the Thin Blue Line over Africa, with Earth's atmosphere illuminated at the edge of space.
