So hopefully we'll be able to have these like multi-camera angle things that I've done in the past which you guys really like. This is far more complicated than just picking up my phone and live streaming. And I haven't done this in a while so I had to make sure that I did everything right. So it looks like it's working. It looks like everything's right. Hopefully. And then like since the last time we got rid of the little table that was here so I had to make sure I could set everything up. But I think we're good. Welcome to the live stream! How are you guys doing today? It's Friday. We thought we would do a live show. The dogs are kind of just chilling. They just had lunch. As you can see they're kind of just napping. So they did. They just had lunch and we thought we would come on here do a little bit of a live show. If you guys are new to our live shows, hi! Normally what we do here is we try to answer questions submitted by you guys. If you choose to do a super chat which is the little dollar sign down by the chat. If you choose to do a super chat we try to answer those questions first. But you don't have to do a super chat to have a question answered. We try to answer as many questions as we can. But the super chat, the super chats we try to always answer because you guys are donating to our cause and you know that makes it a little bit. So we have to put those up at the top. Uh, so I guess that would be kind of their favorites. Fishy, they do like fishy foods for some reason. I mean, gee, how could you not like fishy foods? Somebody said it's frozen. I don't think it's frozen. I'm pretty sure it's just because they're sleeping. See, look, we're not frozen. We're just sleeping. Um, also before we get too far into this, um, what was I going to say? Um, before we get too far into this, I did want to update you guys on Shelby's surgery. I don't know if we can see it from here. Um, she had surgery. She's got a big naked spot. I don't know what happened. Well, we were going to move this camera, but then it got tangled. Hold on. Hold on. Somebody tucked the camera into the couch. There we go. Okay, now we have a little more play with this camera. So anyway, Shelby had surgery to remove another lump on her back. You can see her big naked spot on her back. We showed it in the vlog and a bunch of people left comments saying she looks like a little piggy bank and you're right. She does. It made her look like a piggy bank. So yeah, she does. She kind of looks like, she kind of looks like a little doggy piggy bank. There's Miss Oakley over there wandering around. Um, who's Nova? Nova was the blind puppy. Uh, if you didn't watch yesterday's video, it was the day Shelby had her surgery and I got to hold a puppy named Nova while I was at the vet's office and she's blind. She was actually having surgery right after Shelby's surgery was done. Um, she's not our puppy. She's a puppy from a shelter near us, uh, but she's, she's not our puppy. And I guess they did do the surgery and the surgery went well, but they're pretty sure she's going to be blind her whole life. Jeremiah 25, thank you for the super chat, says I love fan Fridays. I do too. I'm kind of sad that we don't do them every Friday anymore, but I think it kind of just got to the point where we had a lot of people that were saying we were answering the same questions over and over and over in our fan Friday. So some of you that have been here for a really long time, weren't watching them as much anymore. So I kind of felt like it was time to switch it up and maybe not do them as often. So that's kind of what we've been trying to do. We're trying to do live shows like every other Friday and then we're trying to do a couple other things throughout the week. We have some ideas from for some new things we might try out. We haven't decided yet. Hi Memphis, how are you? Did I stop petting you? Mom, you stopped petting me? And oh my gosh, I just can't handle it. You can handle it. Is she up for adoption? The blind puppy, she will be up for adoption. I think they already have a lot of applications in for her as of right now. But she will be up for adoption and I believe there was a couple other puppies from that same litter. They weren't blind, but there was a couple of other puppies from that same litter that were also available. Hamid says, which dog is more high energy, a boxer or a husky? Boxers and huskies have about the same energy level. Funny story, Jamie kind of always loved boxers. We had actually talked about getting a boxer before we got our first husky. They do pretty much have the same type of energy level. They're both really hyper and kind of crazy. We're doing Fan Friday right now. Somebody just asked when we're doing Fan Friday. Today's Friday and we're answering questions. So today is technically Fan Friday. We've pretty much switched to doing them live. Not always doing them live, but sometimes. Somebody asked why we aren't posting on Wednesdays anymore. You know a lot of you guys didn't even notice that we stopped posting on Wednesdays, which I thought was funny. We stopped for quite a while and a lot of people didn't even notice. The biggest reason we stopped posting on Wednesdays is we're trying to figure out if we can trick YouTube into thinking that we're relevant again. As silly as it is, we have over 500,000 subscribers. We're doing a live show right now. We have 500 people watching. A lot of people don't get our notifications anymore. I get told daily that people aren't getting notified about our videos. So we're trying to do some new things to kind of see if we can get YouTube to kind of remember that we exist. It's all technical stuff. That was one of the reasons that we stopped doing Wednesday videos was just as a test. We might bring them back. We haven't decided yet. I haven't decided if we're going to start doing them again. As summer gets closer, we might start doing them again. I also have thought about doing one video a week on each of the dogs individual channels, which I thought could be a lot of fun, but I'm still not sure if I want to do that either. Basically because YouTube is so messed up with like their monetization right now. If I start producing content for those channels that aren't monetized, there's just so much that goes into it. You know, business junk. Bless you! But that is another option that we might actually start doing. We might start doing one video a week of each of the dogs individually on their own channels. I haven't decided yet. We're pretty much, I'm kind of like waiting until winter is kind of over before I really start getting into all of that stuff. You are just stealing all of the attention. Not something I have a whole lot of experience in. Thank you for the super chat, by the way. When it comes to huskies and babies, that is not something I have a lot of experience in. So I never feel right answering it. Like, because I have no idea what I would do. Huskies can be so high. I mean, realistically, I guess it'd be like introducing a husky to a cat. You just kind of got to keep them apart for a while so they kind of get used to each other and then hope everything goes okay. No, realistically though, that's something I would definitely talk to friends of yours that have huskies and kids. People that have more experience doing that. Maybe even reach out to your vet. Ask your vet what they think could be a good way to do that or a dog trainer. But me personally, that is something I don't have an answer for. Casey wants to know, do you still open mail? Yes, we did a mail video two weeks ago. Not very many of you saw it, but we did do it. Like full-on allergies? Penicillin. Don't send us any penicillin. But realistically, like for allergies? No. We're not really allergic to anything. The dogs aren't really allergic to anything. We thought for a while that Memphis might be allergic to chicken, but she wasn't. It didn't end up being that, so no. Caitlin says on skin care. On skin care for a sharp A? I don't know. I've never had a sharp A before, so I'm not really sure like about skin care for a sharp A. I don't know. TeddyBear1278, thank you for the super chat says, as Shelby had to have so many more surgeries, even if the lumps have come up abnormal but non-cancerous, have you considered or discussed chemo any further? We have. We actually, I talked to my vet about this when she had her little bank slot. Somebody said Shelby looks like a bank and now that's all I see. I grabbed that. I'm like, oh my god, no way. That's all I see. I want to photoshop her with like a dollar bill. Anyway, we have talked to our vet about chemo and realistically, you guys have seen Shelby. She's in the hallway right now. She's healthy. She's happy. She's pulling the sled. If we give her chemo, she's not going to be like that. She's definitely, there's definitely a huge chance it's going to make her really sick, so all of the lumps that we've had removed have not, up until this point, knock on wood, there's some wood, here's some, have not been, have not been cancerous, so because of that, we're still choosing to not go the chemo route. That is, that is still what we're, we're choosing to not go the chemo route. Ellie says, when will you do a camping vlog? April. Our first camping trip should be the second or third week of April. We still have snow. Our camper is still covered. It's still freezing temperatures at night and we do not have an all seasons camper, so as soon as, as soon as the snow melts, it should be April. Memphis's birthday is actually April the 4th. She will be five years old and I just put out a tweet the other day and a couple of other, I posted on Facebook, I posted on our Pawdience group and I tweeted it. If you guys want to send something to Memphis for her birthday video, this year we're going to do something a little bit different, but she is going to have a birthday video. If you guys want to send her a card, a letter, a package, anything you want to send her, you can send it to our PO box, which is listed down in the video description below. If you want to send her anything, we're going to do a full birthday video where we're going to show everything that she got, but we're going to take some of the toys that she gets, because she always gets a lot, and we're actually going to set them aside and we are going to donate them to the new Alpena County Animal Facility that we are helping to start. If you guys hadn't heard that yet, we're actually starting a new animal facility here in Alpena County and I'm on the board. I'm actually the board president. Myself, some really close friends of mine, some other people I know are working to start this new facility here. It's going to be a full-scale animal facility. We'll be able to rescue cats, dogs, horses, goats. We live in a farming community, so we do get abuse cases of like rabbits, goats, pigs, cows, horses. Long story short, if you guys do decide to send anything to Memphis, it may get paid forward and used for donation as well. Would you ever switch the girls to Merrick? No. Nope. My mom actually feeds her dog Merrick dog food. She just switched her dog to Merrick dog food, the lamb and rice dog food. Um, our dogs are on Wellness Core Raw Rev. So it's got like chunks of raw in it. Um, that's what they're on right now. Does Shelby have full-blown cancer? So that's a really hard question to answer. You want to take that one, Jamie? Does Shelby have full-blown cancer? Because the answer is pretty much no, but it's also we don't know. It would be, uh, let's see, how else would you say that? I mean, it's not full-blown cancer, but she definitely has a little capability. Yeah, so she doesn't have cancer as far as we know of right now. She had a cancerous tumor removed that had the chance to metastasize, but we took her to the cancer center and they did all the testing down there and it had not metastasized. So she didn't have it anywhere else in her body, but we've had all these other lumps on her actually removed. None of them have come back cancer. So as far as we know, she doesn't actually have cancer in her body right now. Right? It didn't metastasize anywhere. Yes. So as far as we know, I mean, we can't say for sure 100%, because... Correct. Well, the reason for removing the lumps is to make sure that it doesn't get to any other main organs, because once it's reached the main organ, then you pretty much have, I mean, you need all your organs. Right. I mean, there's a couple that you can lose and get replaced, but I don't know if that worked in dogs. Maybe a little dummy liver. Maybe a doggy liver transplant. Yeah, but I mean, I can't think of a whole lot of other examples except for probably the most common with women and breast cancer. Yeah. If they get the cancer. If you get breast cancer and it metastasizes. Well, if you get the, even if it's just a small lump or something, you know, even a lot of people, they get cysts or stuff that'll grow underneath their skin or whatever, but if you leave that there for long enough and you don't pay attention to it and it does start growing rapidly or whatever, you know, then obviously you want to get it removed before it grows rapidly in the other. And that's kind of the thing with Shelby's cancer. The type of cancer that she had was called a malignant pylomatrixoma, which is actually a very rare form of cancer, which is why we've taken the route we have taken and we've just continuously removed any new lumps that she's gotten. And so far, it's worked out really good. Yeah, I'd say she's cancer free. I would, I would love to say that 100% for sure. Lookit, there's our piggy bank. It's just like, guys, I'm a piggy bank. And now that you guys mentioned it, she looks like a piggy bank now. We don't have the results back for that yet. It won't be for at least another week. Firewaterphoenix16, thank you for the super chat, says, out of all three dogs, I'm not sure. Which one is your favorite and which one is Jamie's favorite? I don't have a favorite. It's impossible to have a favorite. I have favorite things about each dog I like, but I can't say that I like or love any one of the dogs more than the other. If we were to ask the question the same but in reverse, which people is the dog's favorite, I could probably answer that easier. I think Memphis likes you the most. I think you're right. I think Memphis is very much my shed. I can't walk from one room to another without her wondering where I am. Oh yeah, yeah. And then I guess it would be a toss up between Oakley. I think Shelby can go either way. Yeah. I really think that Shelby's like, oh. Well, the same thing with Oakley too, I think. Ah, no, Oakley goes to you far more than she goes to me. I know, I was gonna say that she does claim to be a little bit. I think if we both had food in our hand and she knew, like that would be hard to do because Oakley has such a hard time paying attention. Like if we could do it with these dogs, they would know. Like if Greg held them and we both had food in our hand, so they could make the choice of who do they want to get the food from first, Memphis would definitely come to me. Shelby would probably get confused and go to Greg. And if I were to lay basis of favorites solely on which dog listens to me the most, then I would say my favorites probably Shelby. If you were a company and you had a lot of information that you didn't want to lose versus constantly backing up all of your information, if you ghosted the hard drives, you would never lose that information. Right. Yeah, Jamie's hard drive on his computer died. It was great. We spent most of last night trying to figure it out. Then we figured it out. We're like, oh, well. And then I thought about it. When we take the dogs outside, it's actually at the bottom of the landing. So when they come in and out, they run over it. Because when we had it up here, they would lay on it. And that just wears fur off of their elbows in other places. So it just made more sense to put it at the bottom of the steps when they actually need the tracking. Yeah. We were just trying to use it for Oakley to help her for going in and out of the kennel. That's the best place to put it for Oakley. Somebody asked, how did you clean the blood off the carpet? If you guys didn't watch the vlog today, we kind of showed how we cut Oakley's nails. And we got one of her back nails a little close and she bled a little bit on the carpet. We just used nature's miracle. I had so many people telling me how to get blood out of the carpet in the vlog. And I'm like, guys, we've had dogs for 20 years. Is just make sure you have a really good pair of clippers. Yeah. And I mean, we had a really good pair, but I think it just got old and we got rid of them. We had a pair that was 20 years old. Yeah. I wouldn't say they were really good. And they were small. They were small, so they didn't really work on Oakley anyway because they were small. Yeah. Ryan Furman says, I love you guys. See, the problem is if I have two dogs in the advanced class, it's hard for me to do both. But I'm also supposed to be helping train the beginner people. So I think what's going to happen this year is I'm going to leave ahead of time. And then when the advanced agility class starts, Jamie's going to bring me Memphis. And if we decide that Shelby's going to attend as well, Jamie can just bring Shelby. And then that way, he can hold one of the dogs while I'm out there running a dog, which would make things a million times easier. And it's only an hour. So that might be what happens if we don't retire her from her class. I think we'll probably take her to at least one and see how she does. But last year, she did really good, but she got tired fast. But now that I actually play her, she's my highest level character in Heroes. Really? Yeah, because I learned how to play her. Yeah. And that's, yeah, she's probably my favorite. If I could travel anywhere with the dogs, if money was no option and I could travel anywhere and go and see anything, it would be New Zealand. It would. It would be New Zealand because of Lord of the Rings. Because yeah, it's just beautiful. Like when you look at anything there, like there's, it's beautiful. That's always a place that I thought would be really interesting. In New Zealand, do they have a two foot long centipede? I have no idea. They do in Australia. Do they? I don't know that I'd want to go to Australia, but I want to go to New Zealand. I know they're close, but I want to go to New Zealand. That's what I was wondering. I'm like, okay, I know Australia has a lot of big scary monsters stuff there. In Australia, there's even trees that'll kill you if you touch them. So New Zealand's not like that, right? I have no idea, but I would go to New Zealand. In the states, it would be Alaska, but we'd have to go through Canada. If I could visit any state in the United States, it would be Alaska. You don't have to go through Canada. If it had to be in the 48 states, it would be Colorado and Montana. It'd be hard to decide between those two. Oh, I have to look that up. New Zealand is much safer than Australia. I kind of had that feeling.
