Fresh off of a Facebook MARKETPLACE listing comes this quarter chiming, multi-melody mantel clock by Urgos of Germany. Typical pendulum clock of the time, running for about eight days on a winding. Chimes choice of Westminster, Whittington, or Winchester melodies every quarter hour, and strikes number of hours on the hour.

I got this with no suspension spring, so had to filch a replacement from one of my non-functioning Kienzle spare movements. Unfortunately, in the process of attaching the new spring to the clock, one of the two spring threads broke... Oops! So yeah, I need to figure out where to get an appropriate replacement here in Canada. Still, the clock is running for now, and the chimes sound quite lovely... so there you have it.
