Mahogany, Tall Case Clock From Liverpool, Circa 1830

Welcome to the most wonderful time of the year. Today I'm going to be sharing with you this lovely grandfather clock we acquired. It's mahogany and overall you can see it's just your classic design but it does have some really cool variations. First off it's a broken arch at the top which is the most popular, most classic. It has a lovely vibrant dial. It was made by H. Daniel in Liverpool, England so obviously it's an English tall case clock. It is the original works to the case with the original mechanics and everything which is great and you have this lovely case that is a little bit of a later style. It's that empire or what the English would have called a regency influence and you can see that through this curved element here and the door here is curved. It does have half columns, more curving down here. It does have a panel door. It fits well under an eight-foot ceiling. It's just a lovely, lovely clock and it's been fully restored mechanically and it's ready to go.
