I'm Taylor and this is Breeze and it's Fan Friday!
It's time for Fan Friday!
Super cute Rainbow Pets wants to know,
how often do you take the girls out camping?
Well, not that often in the winter time.
This winter has been really cold with the wind chill.
But in the summer time, we try to go every couple weekends,
if not every weekend that we can.
We really like camping.
It's nice to be outside with them,
playing in the fun woods and experiencing new things.
Kay Houson wants to know,
can you do a video about everything you need to go camping
and start camping with your dogs?
We actually have a video like that.
I will put a link somewhere on the video here
and down in the video description, so you can go check that out.
Sadie the Lab wants to know,
how old were the girls when they started sledding?
Shelby was...
Gosh! She was probably three or four years old.
Oakley was a little bit older.
We don't actually know how old she is,
so she was probably like eight or nine.
And Memphis was eight months when she started.
Katelyn Eason 97 says,
do you think Oakley will ever become completely comfortable
with being petted on the head
or do you think she's always going to be nervous about it?
Well, considering by the time you guys see this,
yesterday was Oakley's three year gotcha day.
I have a feeling she's always going to be a little bit leery about it.
Aren't you Oakley?
We have live...
If you guys didn't see it on Wednesday, we did a live show
and then on Thursday, we did a live show over on our vlog channel
which is youtube.com slash Snow Dogs Vlogs.
See? It's another reason why you should be subscribed over there too.
We did two live shows this week.
One here and one over there.
Oh my goodness!
K Mucy says,
describe each of the girls...
If you could describe each of the girls with just one word,
what would it be and include Shiloh?
The first word that came to my head when I...
When I first read this question for Oakley was fluffy.
So, I think I'm gonna have to go with fluffy.
And the first word that came to my head for Shelby was crazy.
I mean, she's not as crazy as she used to be but she's definitely crazy.
And for Memphis...
Gosh! Cuddly!
Cuddly would probably be the first word that I would use to describe her.
And for Shiloh, I would say princess.
Because she was the princess.
Why are you way over there Shelby?
Why is she way over there, huh?
What's she doing? She's crazy.
Cindy from Twitter says,
do you know anybody that owns a blind husky?
We just found out that our girl has juvenile cataracts.
Juvenile cataracts is actually a genetic condition that is very common in huskies.
They can't...
What are you doing?
That's one of the reasons we say when you're going to get a husky from a breeder...
Now, you can't always do this of course when you're adopting or getting from a rescue.
But when you go to get a husky from a breeder, you should make sure that they have certified eyes.
They've gone through the OFA and the SIRF certifications.
Anyway, to answer your question, I do not know anybody with a blind husky.
But I did know somebody with a blind Dalmatian.
And their dog actually did pretty good.
And actually, that's not true.
There's...
I know some people in town here that have a...
I think it's a husky mix that actually doesn't have any eyes at all and is completely blind.
And that dog does pretty darn good.
JPLPGames says,
Will you be watching this year's Iditarod?
If so, who will you be rooting for?
Dr. Tim, Dallas Seavie and Mitch Seavie.
That's who we'll be rooting for.
Apparently Shelby's going to hide behind the couch today.
Jessica from Facebook wants to know,
Would you ever consider doing a live fan Friday?
We were actually just talking about that today.
We might have to do that sometime.
Now, we have half of Shelby because Memphis has to be...
Take up all the camera space.
We got some mail!
Let's see what's in the mail.
Shelby's checking out the light.
Is that pretty cool?
We got a letter.
We got a letter and some drawings from Emerson Rose.
She has a drawing of each of the girls here.
And a letter!
Dear GTSD, I have a present for Shelby.
Oh gee, look at that Shelby!
She must know you!
She must...
Look at that!
Look at that Emerson!
Shelby, can you say thank you?
Would you like me to open those tennis balls for you?
Or...
You got that?
Pretty sure, she's got that.
Thanks for sending that stuff Emerson!
And we got a letter with a little drawing from Tanya in Canada.
And we got a photo and a letter from Danny.
One of Danny's questions was,
Will you ever do a gathering in New York?
I don't know!
Maybe someday, we might have to.
Do you girls want to travel to New York?
Do you think that would be fun?
I've never been to New York, so maybe someday!
And we got a drawing from Catherine and Catherine wants to know,
For sled pulling, do you need more than one husky to pull the sled
or is one husky enough to pull one person?
With a smaller sled, like a kick sled, you can definitely use one husky to pull one person.
You just kind of have to help kick it along to keep it going.
You won't be able to go for as far, but it is definitely possible.
And we got an awesome drawing from Selina and Selina wants to know,
When is Oakley and Shiloh's birthday?
We don't really know when Oakley's birthday is, so we kind of just made it...
First we made it May the 1st and then we decided to move it to May the 8th
because the beginning of the month I tend to forget.
So her made-up birthday is May the 8th.
Shiloh's birthday was November the 8th.
Memphis's is April the 4th, so hers is coming up next.
And Shelby's is August the 8th.
And Sierra sent us an awesome card with an awesome drawing of all the dogs.
And we got a letter from Seth with some really cool little LED lights.
We might have to do a video with these and the dogs.
Put them on their collars and turn the lights off and see what happens.
Isn't that cool? That's pretty cool. Those are pretty neat.
And Seth wants to know where we got each of the dogs from.
We adopted Oakley from a girl that lived in Petoskey.
We got Shelby in Hillman, Michigan and we got Memphis in Dexter, Michigan.
Alright you guys, that's all we have for Fan Friday today.
Thanks for watching. Thanks for subscribing.
If you didn't do so yet, you can check out Sunday.
We put up a video of Oakley going absolutely crazy.
Monday we put up a video of somebody.
We won't tell you who, being a bad dog.
Won't tell you who.
Wednesday we did a live show and then of course today is Fan Friday.
And we also wanted to say, just recently, actually yesterday,
we reached 90,000 Pawdience members.
There are 90,000 people in the Pawdience.
That is insane.
You guys are absolutely amazing.
We cannot thank you enough.
We are on the road to 100,000 Pawdience members.
I don't know how soon we'll get there.
Projection show, it won't be until the end of May,
but don't forget if you guys share these videos.
Tweet them out to your friends.
Tell your friends about us.
Tell them to subscribe.
Maybe we can grow this Pawdience just a little bit faster.
What do you think?
Yeah?
You think so?
I think so too.
I think so too Shelby.
I think so too.
So we just wanted to say thank you guys again for subscribing.
Thank you for liking, commenting, sharing our videos.
We really appreciate it.
We can't believe that the Pawdience has grown so much.
Are you happy?
Are you happy Shelby?
Say, we're so happy.
We're so excited.
Oh, so excited.
All right, well today is actually Thursday,
so we're getting ready to do the live show on the vlog channel right now.
But by the time you guys see this, it'll already be done and over with.
So, I gotta go get ready for that.
Thanks for watching.
Thanks for subscribing.
Stay positive.
Dream big.
And we'll see you soon.
Goodbye!
Turn around and roll over, snow dog.
Sing a song with your sweet voice.
I know you've been a good little girl.
Good girl.
Come and join us for a new adventure.
Lots of fun and lots of walks.
Won't you come into our Siberian world?
Gone to the snow dogs.
