DIY SLIME FOR DOGS | NO GLUE SLIME | Edible Slime

Guess what we're doing today? You guys, probably aren't going to believe this, but so many of you have asked us to do this in the comments. We're going to make... Edible slime for dogs. Which is interesting and not something I ever thought we would be making, but... We're going to attempt it. See how this works out. Shelby's like, I am ready! Yeah! We're going to make DIY edible slime for dogs. Now, before I get too far into this... This isn't something you want to feed your dog like as a treat all the time. It's edible, they can eat it, but it's not a treat per se. Like you don't want to take the whole thing of slime and feed it to your dog. If you break off a little piece and give it to them, it will be ok. It's actually safe for people to eat too, if you really want to eat it. You just don't want to eat a ton of it. Before we get any further and tell you guys how to do this... Please don't feed your dog a whole ball of slime, just because they can eat it. It's made with fiber powder. I have a feeling, if you fed them the entire ball of slime, you would have problems. If you want some treats, you can actually feed the entire treats to your dog. There will be links in the video description down below and up in the playlist above. No joke, a spider just came down from the ceiling. I think he's outside, but I'm not sure. I better check. Let's go ahead and make some slime. I'm actually going to make three of them and three different colors. Also, if you want, you can make this for your kids as well. Your kids can play with this as you want. If you are a kid, make sure you get your parents permission. We do have to use the microwave and this can get a little bit hot. I don't want you to burn yourself. Make sure you get your parents permission. Let's go ahead and make this. It's super easy and super simple. I still find it weird, but you guys asked for it. As always, if you have a suggestion for what you want to see us make next, leave it down in the comments below. All we need for this... is a bowl. You are going to need some fiber powder. This is the Meijer brand. You can also use Metamucil. You want to make sure it has this... 100% Psyllium... Psyllium... I don't know how to say it. Psyllium Husk Fiber. This is the unflavored kind. You are going to need... I'm adding just a little bit of chicken base. So, it has a different smell. The dogs will be interested in it. And a cup of water. If you choose so, you can also add a little bit of food coloring to make this a little bit more fun. One tablespoon of the fiber powder. Put it in our bowl. One cup of cold water. Slowly put that into our bowl. A little tiny bit of chicken bouillon. Put that in there. Don't fall and spill! We're going to make Oakley's color. Oakley's color is blue, so we're going to add just two drops of food coloring. We're going to stir this together. Now, the fiber powder as you mix this and as you heat it up, will turn it kind of a darker color. So, the colors aren't going to be super, super vibrant or anything. Once we have it all stirred together, we're going to put this in the microwave for about one and a half to two minutes. Basically, what you're watching for is this to start bubbling. When it starts bubbling, we're going to pull it out and stir it. Let's do the first two minutes. As you can see, there's little bubbles in here. What we're going to do now, is we're going to stir it again. Our blue is turning kind of green, because the chicken broth is yellow. That's okay! What you think? Does it smell good? It smells good! You can tell it's already turning slimy. We're going to try to get this off the spoon. Again, this is hot! So, be careful! Ewww! It's all slimy! You can't eat it yet! It's hot! It's on my finger too! You can't try it yet! There we go! Alright! It's not quite done yet. Now, we're going to put it back in the microwave for about another minute. Depending on the size bowl you use, you really want to watch this because it will grow. You don't want it to grow over the bowl because it will make a disastrous mess in your microwave. Don't ask me how I know that! It's not because I tried to make sure this would work and made a disastrous mess in my microwave. Or, it could be! Anyway, we're going to put this back in the microwave. Alright! After a few minutes in the microwave, it's going to kind of look like this. You can tell it's very slimy. It's hot! You don't want to touch it. You don't want your dogs to touch it. I'm actually going to pour it out of this bowl and onto this plate so it can cool. Once it's cooled, we can let the dogs check it out. I'm telling you, it's hot! You got to be very careful. Ewww! It's so slimy! It's so weird! I'm going to get the remaining out. Look at it! It's slimy! It's gross! It's weird! I don't know why you guys wanted me to make this stuff. Look how weird it is! Again, it's really hot! I'm actually going to set this aside and let it cool. It's definitely slimy... Oh! It's hot! Yeah! It's hot! It's hot! Don't touch it! I think I just said that. I'm going to set this aside and let it cool before I really let the dogs check it out. Side note! Make sure you wash your dishes out right away because when this stuff starts to harden on the bowls it kind of gets really sticky. For some reason, it does okay on the plate. But on my bowl, it got really sticky. I'm going to set this aside and as soon as it cools... It's so weird! We'll find out what the dogs think about slime. Alright! We have done it! I made three colors. We have... Purple! Green! And we have... Blue! It worked! It's slime! Want to try it? Memphis is like, oh! I totally try it! What you think? What you think Oakley? Want to try it? This is for Oakley! Is it good? What you think Shelby? Want to try it? There's still some on my finger. So weird! The slime worked! It's slime! It's weird! It's slimy! It's actually edible! The dogs actually ate it! I really wasn't sure if they were going to. I did put a little bit of chicken broth in it, so it would smell better. They ate it! I guess! This is the weirdest thing we've ever made, ever! Ever! You got it? Again, I'm going to remind you guys this is not something you want to feed your dog the entire thing. A little bite isn't going to hurt them. You probably don't want to feed them the entire thing. Because again, it was made with fiber powder. So... That is just weird! You don't want to feed them a ton of it. It's not like a full on treat.
