PORTUGAL
The seasons are shifting, and with it comes more time spent outside, moving projects forward across our farm.

This week, we extend our plant nursery with a simple setup, laying weed mat to create a clean, protected space where our seedlings can thrive. It’s all about giving these young plants the best possible start.

I also take down the last part of the fig tree beside the house that needed to go, hand cutting and preparing the timber for a future table project, nothing wasted, everything repurposed.

At the entrance to the farm, some much needed road repairs are underway, keeping things accessible as we continue building life out here.

And just like that, the cherry trees begin to blossom, quietly marking the arrival of a new season.

It’s a special time of year on the farm.
