Summer Days on Our Homestead Under the African Sun | Fruit Harvest & Pressed Flowers

Join us for a slow and peaceful summers day on our homestead where we are living completely off the grid in the remote mountains of South Africa. Working towards creating a more sustainable lifestyle in sync with the earth. Our fruit orchard is abundant with fruits hanging heavy on the trees, this time of year we pick pears, papples and sweet mangos. Walking with our bare feet on the ground we spend our days under the African sun with company from the creatures. Bees and butterflies float effortlessly through the garden landing on colourful flowers. I collect a few blooms to press and preserve, a seasonal craft I have been enjoying.
