Deep Inside the Mystery Mine | On18 Thunderbird Mini Layout

Picking up right where I left off last time, it's time to start putting the "mystery" into the Mystery Mine! It's crunch time on the On18 Thunderbird mini layout, and things are starting to look more and more finished. The Mystery Mine is the dark ride finale for Thunderbird's On18 park train and in this installment, I make a good start on the interior with behind the scenes views of the painted flats, "rubber bats" and blacklight effects that will bring it to life. I figure a lot of stuff out on this one which will help me finish up the Mine in the next installment.
Thunderbird is a 1950's, roadside attraction themed mini layout that I'm working on in collaboration with Gary Beatty and other modeling friends and we hope to have the whole thing finished by the end of April, 2026.
