Okay, I don't that's what they told me
That Michelle and I clearly called each other and coordinated our outfit
By the way, I feel like I'm in the family by the way
You are I I you guys I watched this and first of all, I don't want to bury the lead
I hope you heard I love it so much
And I mean
Did you know going into this show that it would be so soulful and so meaningful and so deep
But without being heavy
Without it has such an uplifting sort of a setting free as the way I felt about it
I look at it as an awakening. Yes. Yeah, certainly for my character and I think for the whole family
But no going into it. I I knew that it was
Taylor described it as a study on grief
So I knew it was gonna get sad
I didn't know how deep we were gonna go, but we went pretty deep
So, you know, it was really an incredible bonding experience and working with
The most extraordinary cast movie I've ever worked with
I had to hearken back to are you kidding me if I have seen this movie more times
I don't think I could I wore the VHS tape Tequila Sunrise
But I watched that so many times I mean you in that jacuzzi it lives rent-free in my mind
Like what jumps out when I'm like Tequila Sunrise one of the best memories was Kurt you
Heard is just pure joy every day all day and it was exactly that
It's like why does he keep coming into my life?
I'm here for it
And you are really like I I love how much kind of guff that you get as the male
figure about numbers
But you're also you get guff you take it like a champ
There's a really good sweetness and humor that you carry
His character is the one that that goes through the most art and we always
Everybody keeps turning to you. Yeah, I love that
He is there to help this family despite the fact that he is so uncomfortable in this environment
Like he's showing up even though he has no idea how to show up for these people
Which is something I try and do in my life. I often feel that way
I have three daughters now and and I'm just had your third right like a month ago like a month ago
I don't know where I am right now
Is it true also that your second one might have been born in an interesting environment
Yes, she was born in the front seat of a BMW
in the parking lot of the hospital
We got to the hospital we didn't get into the hospital and
Yeah within five minutes we we got we got into the parking lot and she was like this is happening
I was like, no, no, no, we got a we gotta go in
Pull my pants down
And I did and I suddenly had a baby in my hand
You actually have a group chat
But you guys are not on it because they didn't want to bother you or something. You haven't even told
Okay, good
We don't want to bother them too much. There's a lot of correspondence between us. Yeah in the in the two years
We talked we talked a lot. So you like lived on the land too. You had like is it true an RV?
Yeah, so I have a camper van that's like I love my camper van and when I got this show
I I it ended up on set with me and I was like would
Can I just camp out by set because it was like an hour to get back and forth?
Morning and I'm lazy and I want to sleep in no, I know and so they gave me this like spot on this ranch
Where I'm totally alone like up above the Madison River keep sleeping in this van
But then I have to go to work and change into my like lavender cashmere sweater every day
So yeah, it's it's a strange dynamic. Would you ever do that? Would you ever go? I keep inviting her
But she just won't ever do that. I thought about that as far as he got. Yeah, not by myself
Yes, but that's what it gives me the feeling of and then also, you know, there's so many different dynamics
I'm a 51 year old woman and I related to everything that everybody was going through. I've been there
I'm there right now. Oh, I remember that. Oh, I'm about to go through that. It's all Taylor's writing
That's that's what's great about this. It's
female gaze I
Didn't realize I related so well to I want that to be their thing and
Did we miss out on our thing?
Because of it and is it true that you were crying too?
Like when things came to a close where you are you that guy cuz I cried when we rewrapped
Yes, I cry a lot. I almost cried walking out
No, I I mean this is just such a special group
And it's such a special story and this is my first show. So all of this has been new
