Casting Call: Hawks jobs, TV roles and more

Creative and a team player, the Atlanta Hawks could be looking for you to oversee the Hawks studios operation and TNT Sports is looking for energetic sports fans this weekend and I think a few of us could qualify for that. So our entertainment insider Tess Hamrick is here with this week's casting call. There you go. I'm excited about today. We've got some great stuff for you. So we're going to start. Okay. I have to tell you this. Most everything I have today is actually unnamed. It's untitled. Okay. So I will put that out there just at the top. And that does not mean that it's not a wonderful project or production. So I highly still recommend that you apply for these because obviously they can't share every name. Um, but just, just know that as we go through. So unnamed comedy feature film, and I love a comedy film. I love a comedy show. It's just so nice. I love a little levity. This one is going to be filming November 30th through December 15th. So about a two week period there. They're open. I mean, this is truly an open call, any gender, any ethnicity, ages 18 and up a paid opportunity. You can apply for this by going to submit.cartwright.com casting.com. But I do know this one's going to be nice and big. So definitely make sure that you enter your information into that database. But that's our first one we have. Nice and big. We like that. I know. I know. I know. So we have a second one, too. Which, again, this is an Amazon MGM TV show, but it is also unnamed. Now, the filming on this one is TBD, but they are looking for a very, very specific role. I've got a couple of specific ones for you today. They are looking for a young boy, Caucasian, four years old, blonde hair, green eyes, and cherubic. Which, you know, if you don't know what that means, that is... Angel face. Angel face. There you go. Angel face. Very, like... Squirmy and joyful and very sweet. Think of, honestly, the ceiling of Michelangelo because that's the cherubs that you're looking for there. This is a paid opportunity as well, but a great opportunity, an Amazon MGM TV show. Hello. You can apply for this by going to tinyurl.com /castingcallmgm and that one's going to be so good. Again, great opportunity for someone who is super, super young. Listen, be like Venus and Serena's dad. Get your kids involved in this young. And then they will thank you with that residual check hits for college, right? I got to get that foot in the door. I know, I know. Okay, this is the one I think keeps getting my attention, this sports shoot. Oh, yeah, absolutely. Yeah, this one's going to be good. So TNT is shooting a sports shooting basketball, pun intended. So this one's actually filming on November 7th in Atlanta. So in a few days, they are casting kind of clean cut, energetic sports fans between the ages of 18 and 40, any gender, any ethnicity. So this is one of those things where. Are you a sports fan? I am. Okay. Fantastic. And I know you are. Yes, absolutely. But it's like these are, you know, think about your friend group. It's like, if you guys enjoy sports and you love that kind of stuff, this is really perfect for you. But again, they're looking for that specific kind of clean cut, energetic sports fans, again, between the ages of 18 and 40, which we qualify for. We haven't hit 40 yet. So it's great. This is a paid opportunity as well. for this by going to tinyurl.com slash casting call TNT, but it'll be so fun. Yeah. Okay. So moving on to this one, grad student types. Oh yes. I love this one. And again, we can still qualify for this. I listen, I'm just going to throw that out there, but again, an unnamed production as well. This one's filming November 14th in Marietta. So slightly OTP that's up in my neck of the woods there, but they are casting grad student types here. Absolutely. Right. And this is going to be on like kind of a college campus. So for anyone who is Still kind of in that mode. This is perfect. And again, it's quite specific. They're looking for men, any ethnicity, ages 25 to 40. And of course, grad student, kind of that look, that kind of collegiate look, as it were. This is a paid opportunity as well. You're going to submit your name, contact height, headshot, full body shot. And you're going to send all that to Ava Grace Casting at gmail.com and put in your subject line, grad student male. Again, I will tell you, even though it's unnamed, we know this. These are still really large productions. I mean, you've got... Amazon. You've got TNT. You've got so many different places, huge places that are coming out with these great productions. So don't let the fact that they have not released a name just because it's unnamed doesn't mean it doesn't have a name. In fact, it's usually a good thing. In fact, it's usually a great thing. Yes. Yeah. So I always have to like kind of give a little bit of a disclosure as it were. Yeah. That's a good one. Okay. We love, we love jobs. You know, I love a job, love a job. I love you today. I love being employed. That's right. I always say that it's a joy to be employed. That's what I always say. And you know what? If you love basketball, if you love our Atlanta Hawks, then this is perfect for you. They're looking for a manager. We'll be right back. A thousand projects a year, that is a huge job. I know when I was pulling all this information, I was like, oh my gosh, it's a thousand projects. It's a tall order. It's a tall order, but this is, hey, this is... You know what? I think they pay very well as well. Five to eight years of experience and experience developing and managing complex organizations as well. You can apply for this by going to tinyurl.com slash casting call Hawks manager. But as we know, sports are a huge part of entertainment as well. And always will be. Yeah. And how cool would that be? Who do you work for? The Atlanta Hawks How cool is that? I've always wanted to say that. And you know what? I'm telling you, it's like I apply for all these sports teams. They just don't want me. Not quite what they're looking for. That's okay. That's okay. We love you. Every pot has a lid. Yeah, that's exactly right. Like maybe this one, brand and social media manager. There we go. If you like social media, which I know we do, this is a great opportunity for you as well. This is with the Georgia Film Academy. If you know anything about the Georgia Film Academy, you know they are rocking and rolling, and they're looking for a brand and social media manager. A lot of managers today. Your duties are going to be to develop and enforce brand guidelines. You're going to collaborate with leadership. And then, of course, you're going to manage and maintain A library of approved branding assets and then oversee a lot of planning, creation, and maintenance of that content. Your qualifications for this, you've got to have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. You have to have proven experience managing brand identity, websites, and social media. And then, of course, for more information, you can email gfajobs at usg.edu or you can apply for this right off the bat by going to tinyurl.com slash casting call GFA Social. Woo! Very nice. That's a mouthful. I love that. That's so robotic. I mean, a little bit of everything, you know, all different age groups and skill levels. So, very nice. And you know what? Commercials are great. And can I just say one thing? Please. Happy, no more political commercials today. I have to say that because I woke up and I'm hearing claps in the back because we love commercials here on Casting Call, but we're not seeing any more of those for a little while now. And maybe the text will officially stop because I think that's been super overwhelming as well. I know, I know. But you know what? We've got a lot going on right now. And it's going to be a great day for someone who's going to apply for that Hawks position with JFA. There you have it. All right.
