This Dallas Area Home Might Be the Smartest Move Under 750K

Right now this Ashton Woods model in this gated community might be one of the best opportunities we've seen in a while. They're new to the neighborhood so their prices are starting lower but that usually doesn't last. And look at this it's just a different look you come on into this thing this thing has an optional media room which is reasonably priced mind you but that adds about 200 square feet or so but this thing is is roughly 3,700 square feet and the pricing is now okay as you step on in you've got this two-story design you've got the little catwalk but I like this hallway I like the details that they've done a lot of this stuff you know you can do it in the design center and one of the nice things about this collection in Ashton Woods that they own their own design so you don't have a middleman so the prices are pretty reasonable but as you step on in you can just kind of take a look from behind you've got an eight foot door and then you've got that plant shelf over the top and that's that two-story design and then you come down and the ceilings come down drop down to about what 10 feet yeah right yeah it feels nice yeah and then you come down here here is your downstairs bedroom this is a five bedroom home so what's nice about this this would be a perfect kind of guest room for most I would think would use it as that it's got its own ensuite which is nice with a nice shower like the windows on the front of the home this is really nice now normally in the front part of the house you would see an office right but we don't but we have a special surprise on when it comes to the office because it's very unique now this is the closet yep so not a huge closet perfect for guests perfect for okay and there's the stairs yeah I like what they did with the staircase right there you come in you've got your coat closet and wait till you see the snack closet oh my heart it's huge but you come through here this would be your garage comes in with a two-car garage you get your mud area here I like that brick detail on the floor that's nice oh and a little half bath that's fantastic got a nice little half bath wow very cool you come down here and here is your laundry area decently sized I mean don't it's not too big it's not too small but it's got everything that you need now let's go take a look at this kitchen dining area and what do we have here we have beans for treats and it's not like your normal design and you can actually get this done I know which is nice you know great and when if they don't have huge markups it's definitely worth taking a look at but I love this kitchen now and their packages that they offer you wouldn't get the the cabinets on the top with the glass that's an add-on that's an add-on but again you're looking their packages you get the LVP you get all that stuff you get really nice finished house like 25 30 grand on top of that you can add another 20 grand or so and get that sort of thing and be decked out yeah the hood is included which is nice one of the favorite things I mean obviously we're in the kitchen this is very nice layout you got a six burner cooked up you got your drawers all everything's soft closed the best part about all of this you're in a gated community and this particular phase in section of Aster Park goes into feeds into Saline ISD so it's got a little bit cheaper taxes so you're looking at a total of 1.8 percent so you're under two percent inside of McKinney going into Saline ISD in a gated community no pit or mud pricing is crazy for this quality I agree look at this snack closet this is super nice it's so big let's see if I can actually get how big that is I mean there's so much floor space in there that is Costco and Sam's Club it is oh you know what else is included in that package are all the handles for all the cabinets I love that this island is a four-butt island I like the spacing here I like the windows I like everything about this kitchen and it just feels very open you've got the high ceilings here and then again it steps down into that family room and personally I love that I agree because it feels cozy right now look at this you've got a dining area right here perfect location it is and you can add those built-ins if you want which I think are so pretty and I would add them yeah because they're very reasonably priced and then this is what I love too because not only do you have this whole this just feels like a family home right it doesn't feel over the top but yet it feels like you're getting quality oh yeah definitely yeah I mean this is impressive yeah people come and see your house 750 grand probably you're lying you know look at this little pocket office I come up with names for everything this is what I came up with this is a pocket office I think it's a perfectly good size though I could see no it's a good working in here getting my editing done yep I love it yeah no it's it's a good office right now let's step on through into that family room area okay I love the sliders obviously that's an additional upgrade and you fireplace space behind you which is so nice and then that fireplace is cool yeah let's see if you had yeah this is perfect I'm just imagining a tv right there I knew you were yeah this would be fine lots of seating space too I mean you could fit a pretty good sized you could I mean they have all these chairs but you could definitely do a big old sectional in here oh for sure I love it yeah this is good and I like the look everything it just feels like I said very homey um for being in the 700,000s like I said an irrigated community in McKinney wow no pit or mud I'm all for that yes but I don't think these prices are gonna last no they just they're kind of introductory prices because they're just coming in now these are all in 50 foot lots so you get that 50 foot that's kind of the beginning stages of being able to put in your private pool if you want and that sort of thing but this is an exceptional value when she was telling us all the cost of the upgrades and stuff I am shocked at just how reasonable everything is now look you've got the tray ceiling on here I like that this room feels very comfortable it's king-sized bed you got plenty of room for your nightstands when you guys are moving here definitely hit that dream home form this is definitely one of those things that we need to put on your list Astro Park if you're not familiar you know it's got builders like Hyland it has Toll Brothers it has Shattuck has Ashton Woods and it has William Ryan right so good builders and like I said with no pit or mud this really makes an exceptional value look at you've got dual sinks plenty of counter space in between you got a soaking tub and then look at the shower you get this beachfront shower I like that tile it's it's kind of loud but I think it's so cool it makes a huge statement yeah you know I like it too but yeah this is a bench in there it does very good well now I see the closet okay let's check this out not a huge closet it's perfect I know it's perfect so that's downstairs let's go take a look at the upstairs all right we are upstairs I'm going to show this very wide hallway that goes once you get up here yeah I know this is space nice window there okay so which way do we go all right so let's go over here we've got two rooms on this side of the home and it has a light that's going crazy inside this bathroom it does you got a little disco going there okay and then I'm going to go right into this room very good size room yeah these are oversized yeah this is nice they've done some great decorating in here I think it's just some cool touches yeah this would be a killer boys room and then you step on over here you do have a kind of game linen closet linen that's a nice I like the deep shelves on that and then you step into this room oh they made it like a craft area so bedroom or craft area whatever you want to make it most would make it a bedroom I'm sure it's got a good size walk-in closet so this is a good room it's a great room now look at this you step over here you've got a walk-in closet and of course this is the daughter's room so you've got your own en suite it is so cute it is and then that is so nice to have an en suite I'm a girl dad so you are a girl I can see my daughter being real comfortable yeah she especially as a young young kid with this pink okay so now let's go check out this game room yeah now before we do that I want to point out oh a bathroom you have a half bath so you don't have to worry about the gas going into going downstairs or going into your boys room right over there god knows you know that wouldn't be ideal look at this game room yeah look how big it is good size really good size you know you can outfit it however you want but it's plenty of space to put that pool table in if that's what you choose to do or however you want to outfit it it would be a nice space and then here is the additional that I would recommend it's like right now 12 15 grand yeah and look at how much square footage you get huge huge and then you can add this bar area as an option this is a no-brainer it's a no-brainer even if you don't use it as a media room just to have the extra space the square footage alone yeah it's worth it this is great yeah I love this yeah this would bring this brings it up to about that 37 3800 square feet so and like I said you're probably looking at about 750 all-in with something like this which with a gated community in McKinney address Salina ISD
