Episode 414

Our new high school - Benjamin Russell is open and we now have an actual track!  Very exciting.  Gavin does his speed training on the track today since all the fields were too wet from rain.  But this was a great opportunity to see how fast he can run on a track and we timed his very 1st 100 meter sprint!  We were very happy with is time and now have a baseline for this that we can practice on as well.  

Then we joined up with Collin back at the home gym and got some nordic hamstring exercises in as well as bench velocity testing, and a chest workout.  We also finally broke out the jammer arms to test out on our all in one home gym by Landmark Athletics - the TC EXT 3 (see link below if you are interested in this).  The jammer arms were very cool and gives a good chest pump as well as a good back workout.
