All right, hey guys, what's going on?
We got the infraction back.
A couple of changes have been made since the last time.
That was my most popular video.
So if you haven't seen that.
Dude, dude, oh my God.
But I definitely blew it up.
A subscriber sent out a Hobbywing Max 5 G2 high voltage.
Shout out to you, thank you so much.
Sent out a bunch of stuff, drag tires,
this, some cat packs.
Awesome guy, thank you so much.
But we stuffed the Max 5 in here.
We were running the 1650 or the 4990 G2.
That's a 1650 KV motor.
You do have to change the bullets
from a 6.5 to an eight mil.
So I had that done.
The ESC fits in, you just have to take out
the original ESC mount for the infraction.
I did put perfect pass QS8s on here.
No more small connectors.
We're only running big guys.
A Castle 12S cat pack,
just in case something wants to happen.
We're running some CNHL purples with the QS8 connector on.
A 23 tooth pinion and a 46 stock center.
Not a ton of gearing for this guy.
I did add some air holes to the body.
Just little guys there.
I just want to get some temperatures,
but there's no gyro in this as well
because we were running the Noble, just a regular NB4.
No gyro, so I want to get this thing all tuned in.
Like I had said, the previous video
where I blew up the infraction
is the best video I've ever had on my YouTube channel.
So make sure you check that out,
but also make sure you're subscribed
because I really like doing builds like this,
putting a max five in a car
that shouldn't have a max five in it.
It's only set to 50% at the moment.
Like I said, low gearing.
Sounds so nasty, I miss this thing.
Even 50%, it's an animal.
Oh, it just smells like burnt rubber already.
Let's check the temperature of everything real quick.
I want to make sure it's running fine.
Running on 68, ESC 60,
LiPo 60, it hasn't even warmed up.
Oh my God, this thing is going to be an absolute animal.
The max five, it is set to the lowest setting
it can possibly go.
There's zero turbo.
The timing is set super low.
The gearing is super low.
It is running on 6S, but it's so slow right now.
It can run 8S, and with this ESC, it can run 12S.
I just need to put a different motor in it, but.
Man, this thing sounds absurdly crazy.
So I did take out the handbrake in this guy
just to get it, you know, just to get it going.
I have to set it up with the Noble,
but man, that body just looks so good.
There's kind of a good sight of the air holes.
I put two in there just to get something going with it.
Last time I didn't, and I obviously,
I think I was running like a 30 something tooth, 34 tooth,
and blew up the max six basically immediately.
Oh, signal lost.
Oh, brought it back.
Okay, let's get up here and do a little bit of a flyby.
So I'm going to run a little GPS here,
send it out, see what it'll do.
Make sure the UDR is not in the road for this.
50%.
Obviously I have to get out of it because there's no way.
That run was 71, 71 miles an hour.
You know what?
I should probably check some temps right now.
It's got 87, 65 on the ESC.
So the motor is getting warm, warmer at least.
65 on the batteries, pretty much nothing.
It doesn't need a handbrake.
83, 74, 70.
Thing is running so good.
Man, you can just smell the tires right now.
I do even have a P-curve into this guy.
Same as what I do for my drag stuff.
If you guys haven't seen my drag,
then make sure you check that out.
But a P-curve is, it's just a curve that I'm going up.
So when I start the throttle, it's not at 100%,
starting lower and ramping up,
which is good for traction.
So if I wanted to do drag with this thing,
actually let's do a quick launch
and just see how fast this thing is.
If I wanted to do drag, you do a P-curve
so it's not losing traction the whole time.
In my drag series, I go through all that.
Let's just see 100% and let her go.
It's not bad.
We're gonna run a little drag hit on this guy right now
and just see how it compares to my drag car.
Okay, so here we go.
We're running 132 feet, which would be a quarter mile time,
down to 1 10th scale.
This is a 1 7th scale car, so it's a little bit off,
but that's what I would normally run for my drag cars.
I just wanna see how the times compare.
Obviously a lot more power, limited on traction,
but let's see.
Felt like a 2.7, let's say, but let's check it out.
No word of a lie, I guessed it.
2.78 at 60 miles an hour, 132 feet.
Super, super slow for this thing.
And obviously it's running super geared down
with the wrong tires, the wrong P-curve, everything.
I think we can, honestly, we can get this thing
in like the one second territory,
like 1.9s if we actually tune it.
So stick around because I kind of want to start doing
like a foam tire drag car with this thing.
Honestly, I don't even think it needs a gyro at this speed.
It's kind of perfect.
Oh, hold on.
Got a little carried away and sent it in.
Nice.
Oh my God, I almost tripped and got hit by it.
Hard on the brakes, that's super hard on the ESC.
Oh, a little dip in.
All right, let's check these temps one more time.
132 on the motor, which is well within its range.
I think 140 is where it doesn't like it anymore.
77 on the ESC.
So the motor is the part that's going to get hot.
Obviously this is a 1650 KV.
The max five should be paired with a 650, 800, 11 or 1250.
So the motor is the limiting factor on this build,
but I knew that going into it,
this thing is an absolute monster.
I'm going to let it cool down.
I got to clean it up, but for a proof of concept
that this thing is working, it's working perfectly.
So that is going to do it today.
That is the infraction with the max five, 1650 KV.
It's an absolute beast.
And I am so excited to have this thing back.
We're going to be doing drag, speed runs, drifting, bashing.
This thing is an all-around monster.
So make sure you're subscribed
because the infraction is awesome.
I really appreciate you guys watching.
Everyone that has subscribed recently,
it's very nice to see.
Thank you for all the comments.
Make sure to share the video.
Have a great night, guys.
Thank you so much.
Talk to you later.
