Paint Everything - From Plywood to Painted in One Weekend

I’ve had sections of this layout sitting unfinished. Plywood, raw scenery, areas waiting for the “perfect” plan.

This weekend I stopped waiting.

Using a handful of inexpensive craft paints and some basic ground cover, I gave the entire railroad a base coat and loose scenery treatment. Nothing permanent. Nothing precious. Just enough to suggest the landforms and bring the whole layout to life.

It’s not final. It’s not perfect. And that’s the point.

Sometimes the difference between unfinished and finished is just paint.
