Summon the Storm - I Built a Thunderstorm for My N Scale (Dystopian) Railroad

The UHX Atmospheric Control Division has been experimenting with unauthorized weather manipulation.
The latest improvement to the Union Harbour Express is a fully operational thunderstorm, complete with nighttime illumination and randomized lightning strikes.
Using some inexpensive automotive lighting, an old Arduino, four COB LEDs, and a handful of electronic components, I've managed to introduce some decidedly unpleasant weather to the layout.
Six minutes of atmospheric experimentation, followed by a quick look at how I built it.
Because apparently a post-apocalyptic model railroad wasn't gloomy enough already.
Welcome to N Scale Dystopia.
