Transforming a Basic Kit Into an Atmospheric Union Station
This station started as a simple livestream project and gradually evolved into something far more atmospheric than I originally intended.
Over the course of several weeks I kept adding layers of weathering, vines, banners, lighting, graffiti, and small seasonal details until the structure stopped feeling like a model kit and started feeling like a place.
In this video I document the transformation of a basic station kit into a moody, cinematic Union Station inspired by aging urban infrastructure, autumn atmosphere, and the quiet beauty of neglected spaces.
The process includes:
• weathering and washes
• rooftop detailing
• vines and foliage
• graffiti and signage
• subtle seasonal detailing
• final cinematic reveal shots
Built in N scale.
