WALMART FASHION HAUL Spring 2022 Over 50

Hey y'all, it's me Serena. Welcome or welcome back to my channel. In today's video, I have some fabulous spring and summer finds from Walmart that you will not believe actually came from Walmart. Like this dress that I'm wearing right now. You'll see it at the end of the video, so stick around for that. So with all that out of the way, let's get into the try-on. So in this first outfit, I have been on the hunt for some longer tank tops that I can wear this summer with leggings and or bike shorts. Because I don't know about you guys, but where I live, it gets incredibly hot and humid in the summer. So pretty much from Memorial Day on, I'm wearing sleeveless unless I know I'm gonna be inside all day and then I might wear short sleeves. But I'm just sleeveless because I heat up really easily. And with my job, I'm in and out of cars. I'm going in and out of houses. I just get hot. So I look for sleeveless tops that are flattering. So you're gonna see quite a few in this video. But this first one is specifically for wearing with athletic wear. And I wanted it long enough to be tunic length but still be sleeveless. And I found it. This is by Time & True. I'm wearing a size small here. This is in black. And it's just $10 or $9.98. So it comes in a ton of different colors. It's not necessarily athletic wear. It's more of a really lightweight, thin, cottony material. But you could wear it to work out and I probably will. And it is rather low cut in the front. But I don't mind that because I'm gonna be wearing this with some kind of sports bra on underneath it anyway. So you'll see I have that on in my video peeking out. And these sports bras are part of a 3-pack that I have found on Amazon. And they're just $28. And these are my favorite sports bras. And I'll have those linked in the description box as well. And with this top, I'm wearing some Sofia Vergara leggings. These are the Luxe, the Sofia Active Luxe leggings. And they're in this pretty magenta color. And they have the black trim going down and around the legs. These are very high-rise especially on me since I'm short and so short-waisted. But these are super comfortable, super stretchy. They have very, very light compression. So super comfortable. And they go great with the top. And on my feet, I'm wearing these Avea sneakers. I've shown you guys these before. These are super comfy and cushiony. And they are less than $25. I'm wearing my true size six and a half. They fit very true to size. And I love these. And let's see the leggings. I'm wearing a size medium in the leggings. I usually go up size in leggings. And the leggings are just $22. So there's the first outfit. Super comfy and cute. And so glad that I found these tunic sleeveless tops. Okay, before I go into my next look, I wanted to mention the earrings that I've got on. And I'm wearing these throughout this video. And they come as a part as part of a two-pack. Then I'll show you the others. These are by Scoop. And as you can see, they're just a little huggy hoop style earring. So very small. It just hugs right around your earlobe. They're 14 karat gold flash-plated. I just love all the earrings that I've purchased from Scoop. They look so nice. They're great quality for the money. And like I said, this is a two-pack. And here is the other pair that came with these. And these, I don't know if it's gonna focus there. These are gold with little turquoise beads on them. And I haven't worn these yet. But aren't those cute and just kind of dainty? They're a little bit bigger than these gold hoops. That's still just super cute. And for both of these, the original price is $15, which is not bad at all. But right now, as of today, the price for both pairs of these earrings is $13. So that is a great deal. And I think these are just so easy to wear. Just even on days when you're not dressing up at all, just a t-shirt and jeans. Put these on and you know it adds a little finishing touch to your outfit without going all out. And I just love the way these feel. And they're not jangly or doing anything weird or making any noise, which is one of my pet peeves about jewelry. If y'all haven't heard that before, it is. So I love these earrings. I can't recommend them enough. All right, next look. This is a smocked strap tank top by Time and True. I'm wearing a size small. These come in various different colors. And the band across the top as well as the straps are smocked and kind of stretchy. This is just an easy, breezy, almost a gauzy feel fabric. Just really lightweight. And as you can see, since it does just kind of hang freely, it does give that maternity kind of vibe or it can. But I do a little front tuck and then that takes care of that whole look. And I think it is so cute. I know that I'm gonna wear this a ton. The summer is just a great top to wear on those super hot days when you don't want anything touching you. And this pretty coral color would look great with white. I could put this on with some white denim and nicer sandals. And I could wear this for work in the summer. Throw on a jean jacket over it. You got a cute outfit there too. But right now, I'm wearing it with the Sofia Vergara. Oh super, super affordable. And I'm wearing it right now with these shorts by Sofia Vergara. These are the Lila Buttonfly shorts. These are $25.50. And I am wearing my true size six. And these shorts, I just don't like the way they fit me personally. And I'll tell you why. First of all, they're very high rise which you know normally is a good thing. But they go so far high rise on me that when I do the front tuck, it's just a little bit too high. And then I feel like I have some extra fabric going on like kind of through the crotch area. And these shorts, I feel like if you're somebody who has fuller or more curvy rounded hips, these would fit you and be very flattering on you. I do not. I'm a go through the hip. So I just feel like I've got extra fabric and these are not the most flattering shorts for me. But they do feel nice. They came cuffed. And these are like a four and a half, five inch short. And then you uncuff them and I think they're a little bit longer than that. So a great length. They're not Bermuda but they're not shorty shorts either. They're that great in-between length that I know a lot of us like. So I really do think these would work great for a lot of you guys out there. Personally, they just didn't really work great for me. And on my feet, I'm wearing these little two band slides. These are by Time and True. I sized up to a seven in these. They come only in full or whole sizes. And usually, I'd size down to a six. But for whatever reason, just the way these fit, I needed the seven. That was the more comfortable for this particular pair of sandals. And these just round out the outfit beautifully. It's just a super cute casual shorts outfit. Okay. And this next look, all I did was change out the top. Got on the same denim shorts and the same sandals. And I didn't mention previously, those sandals are $16.98. So a great deal on those. And this little top is the square neck tank. And y'all, this is just $9.98. So under $10 for this tank top. It's made out of this knit. It's knit, but it's almost, it's a puckery kind of fabric. Almost like a seersucker, only it's more stretchy. But it's very cool. I love this blue color. This would look fantastic with white as well. But I'm just loving it with a pair of shorts. Also with white denim. But this is giving me some 90s vibes. This very squared off neckline. I feel like I had a tank top like this back in the 90s. Let me know if if you're picking up on that vibe too. It just gives me a real throwback kind of feel. And if you didn't know, everything 90s is cool again. So that's what's back now. Everything cycles, you know, how it goes. But this is just a really cute top. I like the length of it on me. It has the little side slits. You can easily wear this, you know, out or with a little front tuck. And I think it's just really cute. And this would be great to layer under a cardigan or a jacket or wear by itself in the hot, hot days of summer when all you need is a tank top. Alright, this look may be my favorite look of all of these tank top outfits. And it features this tank top by Time & True. This little top, I'm wearing a size small, by the way. All these tank tops, I've been wearing a size small so far. This tank top is navy. It also comes in black, but I decided to get navy just for something a little bit different since I have so much black. And it's a tank top with this nice ribbed material, stretchy. It fits really well. And then it has these ribbon ties on the shoulders. So the ties don't hold it on you. They're just on top of a strap, if that makes sense. So these do need to be ironed out a little bit. They're a little bit wrinkly, and I was lazy, and I did not iron them. But I think this is such a cute top. And the navy looks so crisp with white. And this top is just $12.98. So it is a great deal if you're looking for an elevated tank top. This is just super cute. This is something I would wear this for work in the summertime with some white pants or white denim and cute sandals. I would definitely wear this. And these shorts that I'm wearing, wearing it with, these are Time & True. These are the cuffed shorts. I've shown these in a couple of different colors and versions this spring in my hauls. And this is the white version. And these are just $13.98, y'all. I mean, such a fabulous deal. These, I think, are a three and a half inch inseam, maybe four. But I'm wearing a size up from my usual six. I'm wearing a size eight. And that's definitely the right thing to do in this particular short. I find that it fits a little bit more snug than some of the other Time & True shorts. And I like a little bit of extra room. That way, I can kind of pull these down on my hips a little bit and get more length on the leg. But I just love these shorts. And this with the navy is so cute. And the shoes I'm wearing it this outfit with. These are a new brand that Walmart online is just started carrying. It's Madden NYC. And these are just $22. They're made out of almost a jelly kind of material. And then this crisscross band over the top has some bling on it. And I am seeing this silhouette for sandals all over the place this year. This is going to be a hot look for summertime. And with the material of these sandals, you can definitely wear them to the pool, get them wet. It's not gonna kill these shoes. They are so cute. And they have that memory foam padding. So these are just really easy to slide into and go. And they're a little elevated look from just your basic flip-flop. That's so cute and just add a little extra sparkle and interest to your outfit. Alright, this next outfit, I really like the idea of this outfit. But there's some components of it that just are not working for me. So the top is a top you've seen in a couple of previous Walmart hauls. It's the Sofia Vergara knit ruffle tank. And I love the top. Okay, I love this top. It's the one that I showed you. You can wear it either with the V ruffle in front or you can turn it around and wear the square neck in front. So I love the top. I'm wearing it in a medium. I really need a size small. I'm gonna try to exchange it. I hope they're not sold out. And the top is $28. And then these jeans, I adore the color of these jeans. These jeans are by No Boundaries and they are the high-rise straight leg cropped jeans. Now they're called cropped but on me they are pretty much full length because I'm so short. And when they say high-rise, they mean high-rise. Oh my gosh, these jeans come almost up to, you know, my bra, the band of my bra. But like I've said, I'm extremely short-waisted and high-rise shorts when they're the, or pants when they're this high-rise, just do not work for me. I love the color of these. I love the fabric. The fabric feels great. It feels like your favorite worn-in, broken-in pair of jeans. So I was really impressed with the fabric but the fit on these is just not good for me. If you are taller than me or you don't have a super short torso like I do and if, again, if you're a little fuller in the hips than I am, I think you would really like these jeans because I do, I still have that extra fabric like through the crotch and kind of around the hips and it's just not, they're not doing it for me. But these are just $17.98 and they come in sizes 1 to 21. So a very wide size range and I'm wearing these in a size 9 because since they're juniors I went up, I normally wear a 6, so I went up a size 2 and 8 but since they're juniors I have to get the 9. So there's the math for you. So I would order a size up but again if you're fuller in the hips I think you're really gonna like these jeans if you can wear something that high-waisted. And then the sandals. These are by Time and True. These have the little braided strap across the toes that is so on trend right now but these have the ankle strap also. So they are strapped onto your foot giving you a more secure walking experience not like the slides that I've been showing you. So these are super comfy like all Time and True shoes. They've got that memory foam insole. Feels great. Very easy to walk in. There's no arch support or anything like that but they are very comfy even for my funky feet. They feel very comfy and they're just $14.98 so you really can't beat that price. Okay, this next outfit I just love. I love it, love it, love it. So this top, this is also by Sofia Vergara. It's the one shoulder ruffle top. This top you guys is beautiful and it is such great quality. It comes in this white color. They're calling it gardenia and then it also comes in a very pale lavender and it's $28 and I love the ruffle design coming across and then even the little sleeve on one side has a ruffle. Very feminine. It's got that ribbed stretchy material and I sized up in this since I was getting white and I knew it was going to be stretchy and form-fitting and it's a good thing I did because I could not have worn this in a small. It would have been far too tight. I mean you can see how form-fitting this is on me even in a medium so this is definitely the correct size but this top is so pretty. This would be great for a date night or a girls night out or you know I could see wearing this to a brunch, a lunch, a dinner, at the beach, just all different kinds of occasions and places to wear this top. It's just gorgeous. I love it and the other thing I like about it it's kind of short so that works out perfectly for me but if you're someone with that has a longer torso you might need to wear some high-rise pants or jeans or tuck this in to some high-rise pants or jeans because it might be just a little bit short on you and I'm wearing it with these Sofia Vergara jeans. These are the fray hem skinny jeans and they are $27.50 and I'm wearing these in my regular size 6 and they fit perfectly so I would definitely say order your normal size. These fit great. These you've seen in a couple of other videos and they just know how to make jeans to fit a woman's body. I love these skinny jeans by Sofia and I also put those Madden NYC jelly blingy slides back on with this outfit. This would look good with any variety of a heeled sandal but I just put these back on. I think these go with it too and that rounds out the outfit but I can't say enough about this top and the jeans. I just love this entire outfit. If you like my channel, you're gonna love hers. Okay, we have come to this little number, the green dress. Y'all, you know how hard it is for me to find dresses that fit me because of my short waisted body type and being petite and all those things make it really hard to find a dress that I like the way fits me and this one I think is a winner. This dress is so cute. It is by the brand Baguette and this dress is just $38. I'm wearing it in a size small and it comes in some additional colors and patterns. There's a gingham. There's kind of a leopard print and I think some solids but I think this green is just so gorgeous for spring. This looks like a garden party or Easter or just some kind of spring summer event, an outdoor event that you would wear this to. It is gorgeous and I'm wearing it with my braided two-band sandals. These are the two-inch heel version. These are from Amazon and I'll be sure to link those down below as well and I'm trying this purse out with it. This is the Giselle hobo bag that I also got from Walmart and it's cute but I don't think it's quite the correct bag for this dress. I feel like this dress needs like a straw bag for a true spring outdoorsy look. I think that would be really sweet and really pretty like a little structured straw or raffia bag. Now that that would be really cute. So this purse definitely works but I don't think it's the best purse for this outfit. This dress, as you can see, you can wear the sleeves either up on your shoulders. They're elastic or you can pull them down and wear them in a more off-shoulder style. The whole top part here is smocked and stretchy so it's gonna accommodate a variety of chest sizes and it makes sizing so easy because you know you've got all this stretchiness. It has another rufflancy ruffle down around the bottom of the skirt. I love this dress so much and for me being 5'2", it hits at the perfect spot above my knee. This is like right where I like dresses to hit. It's kind of a flowy skirt but not too flowy. I just think this dress is gorgeous and I hope you like it too.
