Okay, y'all, we're in the living room here.
Put these strips in, I put a few up there,
put a few down there, and I put one there.
I'm gonna show y'all how we do it over here.
Basically, we're going, see that bad spot in the wall there,
he's gonna cut me a strip, and I'm gonna put it in there,
and then we're gonna get this one here also,
and that one there also.
We'll put one, two, three, four, maybe five or six here.
Couple ones off the window there.
We'll be good.
Throw it in the trailer, throw it in the trailer.
So, I'm gonna show you here real shortly
how we're gonna do it.
Put it all together to make it, he's down here cutting.
Got a few of these strips.
If you didn't see that trip where I went
and got all them strips, go back on the channel.
I got a thing where I went to a guy's house
and got 300, 400 of those at one time.
They're like $9 a piece here locally,
and I think I bought 300 of them for 100 bucks or something.
Go back and look at that on the channel,
and we'll show you here.
We're using our Milwaukee fuel frame finish now.
So, there's that one.
Put that strip on there, cover up that bad spot.
We're gonna do the same thing in that corner right there,
and we're gonna do the same thing over here.
You see right there, there's a line
where they tried to do that drywall work.
You can also tell by the floor.
See down there where the drywall is?
Drywall is cut right there, so we can tell there.
We won't go all the way, probably.
Yeah, it's about dead center, that beam up there
is where we're going, about dead center of that beam.
So, we just wanna cut, and I don't really care
what the pattern is on it,
because we're gonna paint it all anyway.
So, once we paint it, it won't matter at that point
what the pattern was, or is, or any of that.
Right there in the front.
We can cut it with a yin-yang.
Okay, so you do want 3 quarters off of that, right?
Yeah. Okay.
3 quarters off the wall, off the floor.
Yeah, so we can get that 3 quarter inch border around.
It's actually probably gonna be just a tad over there,
because whatever thickness that's gonna be.
Whatever it is, if we have to, we can go back with the...
Yeah.
Multi-tool, but we call it the yin-yang-yang.
I used to take a 2 by 4, put it in the table saw,
cut a 16th of an inch stick, inch and a half wide,
and use them.
Yeah, like a 90 foot?
Yeah, I did that pretty easy.
Instead of these 3 quarter inch wide,
I was using an inch and a half wide.
The top.
Yeah.
Above the window there.
I'm gonna do a few under the window there.
Give me two or just one?
Just one that you know.
Yeah, under the window.
Yeah.
Okay.
Did a few above the window, I mean above the door there.
Cover that up, I'm gonna do it below the window here
to match the top.
Kitchen's gonna need a few.
All right.
All right, Ryan, we got a coat on most of the walls here.
Trying to get this gray out of the way.
Getting the gray out of the way, folks.
He's a poet and didn't know it.
The floor here, we got it fixed up.
This one had a big old piece that was bad here in the middle.
Had this around this air conditioning duct, it was bad,
so we had to replace all this.
We got a spot over there that we had to cover up.
That's where they had that air intake
with just a trash bag on it.
Yeah, that was crazy.
I don't know why people do stuff like that,
but we got it up.
We got a few of our materials here for the other room.
We're temporarily using it for storage
as we finish up the rest of the house
and move the stuff this way.
Yeah, we're moving in and moving out all at the same time.
Very cool.
It's looking good, nice and solid in here.
Need more paint and then we'll be about done in here.
Just like that, the whole back.
There's a bad spot there, there's a bad spot up there.
Got them all knocked out.
There's a bad spot there.
Got them all fixed up.
We got to get it all done.
We got a little bit of trim work up there to do.
Won't be long and we'll be putting flooring in it.
Get it smoothed out there and we'll run a sander over it
and get it out of here.
That stuff's pink, it goes on pink
and it comes out white when it's dry.
So it's a little more expensive,
but sometimes it saves you time.
So that's what we're using and trying to knock it out here.
We'll get it done here shortly, one way or another.
Working on that a little more.
Okay, y'all, we're putting the floor down
in this living room here.
We're getting it squared away
and see what we can do with it.
It's an 87, it'll tell you.
Moving all this material out.
Got a few of our tools in here.
So getting it ready.
Donnie.
Yes?
What are you doing?
Man, we got this one finished.
Wanted to show y'all what it looks like here, Dan.
The, everything looks good.
Everything seems to be good.
We got it finished up.
You want to know the best part about it, huh?
What?
We got it rented out.
Where does the couch go?
Where you want it.
I would put it right there.
That'd be kind of cool, yeah.
Put it right there.
And then TV would be right there kind of built.
But why don't you get one of those big tube TVs
and put it back in there.
That's probably what it's for.
Put the couch over there.
Put your couch here.
I would put like one of those,
like a Lazy Boy right here, maybe.
And you can have a couch over there for people to sit on.
And then the TV could be here.
And my Lazy Boy is aimed at the TV.
And the people over there, they can't see the TV
so that I, you know, they can talk to me.
I'm kind of the, you know, the focal point.
You can put your couch here to look out
and just look at this.
That's true.
And you could get the neighborhood kids,
you could clean it up a little bit out there
and get the neighborhood kids to come through
and do like a play in the backyard or something.
Yep, you could.
You know, my dentist office has this out back.
You lay there in the dentist chair,
and you're looking out there for squirrels.
He does this all the time, folks.
But, you know.
Oh, the lights work, too.
Hang on, let me turn some lights on.
Oh, yeah, yeah, the power's on.
He can't figure out which one's which.
There's switches all over the place.
We don't live here, folks.
Oh, there we go, yep.
Now we got it.
Cooking with Bubba and I.
We got it.
I even got the little green light.
Uh-huh.
So, we're good.
Got it all fixed up here.
