We Completely Rebuilt the Master Bedroom in Our Mobile Home, MAJOR Water Damage!

so here's the back room and we do have some salt spots in here we do have some soft spots in here we're fixing to pull this up real quick to knock it out this bathroom here is rotted right there so we're gonna pull it all out and we'll show you some more dirt okay it's literally been like five minutes but we cooked all this out it's bad swap their water beds there obviously I think that's coming from that one until the water dooms there is one of damage there which that might be coming in hot water to here I don't know there's water damage out here that looks like it probably coming from the hot water heater at one point so we should clean this up a little bit repair it repair that little spot there and repair that then we'll be back in here for in this other room now tearing the floor out of it as soon as we get done so after Donnie pulled the carpet up you can see how this back room looks yeah but it's been we didn't do that it's been repaired by somebody else before so the same thing I need to cut this out we need to figure out remember that's where that water spigot is out on the front of the home we've got to repair this cut this bad spot out back to the joist put all new in get it nice and solid where you can jump up and down in here but you know the main problem is I just used a cheap crap I don't know I can't even imagine that plywood was that much more expensive but for whatever reason that's what they used and this is a previous repair work so this homes been worked a couple of times already a little bit of home here do all this [Music] this was by far the worst people all this here is that good all this is to be pulled also so we're here with it patched and all this [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] put all the things real quick and we'll be right without clean up a little more inside okay yo this is what I like to do here you see we terminate the good piece of wood on the very end of the beam and I just put an O right beside it so I don't come up with this situation here like right here they didn't put it on you see how it flexes this will not flex because it's got that two inches they're holding all the way down and we're gonna do that everywhere it terminates like right there he's putting another we'll put another when it gets this wall all the way down and all the way down through here and we'll put all the way down that way we'll little water damage where they had a window in it had air conditioning that one day unit why should you take one I went to the other day that's what happens with the window units they leak water inside you have to replace girl put them on popped out of here this is all get painted the roof is getting painted or the ceiling I guess you've got we've got that planted down there if you know that was but we're getting all this painted out in here look at the ceiling it's already been painted and there you can kind of see where it hasn't kind of see do you see the lines there but they're going through it paint it off I don't know that I'll really shake this up much but this is the for the washer and dryer who could get two little cabinets here a little exhaust fan all this has been painted if you think all this has been here oh we have not painted the clothes at home we haven't decided what but I did make the ceiling or I had this one find it in here I didn't do it obviously well all father so we're gonna take that tape that we talked about last week full line this box and make sure that like right there's a little crack makes you encode that crack up and like right here where it's separated a little bit make sure we seal that off real good all the way back won't go all the way around this box down low get it seal it off quickly and get it fixed okay like that when you're yeah that's right this one the whole freaking floor was the school jump up and down on the bunny is it solid yeah okay absolutely so some of this can be we got new door new door on here look at that and look I'm gonna show you something special about this door it goes all the way to the bottom all the way to the ground we figured the master you know yeah and don't want no little peep holes under the door that's a nice look now what did you that had a door on it originally what did you do with the door on the other see we put the old slightly used doors on the other rooms and then in them you know the master bedrooms it's supposed to be the nice length so we put this the nice new doors on this one the accidents finally we didn't try but if whatever problems I wanted easy access where I could call a plumber or a Scylla for whoever the net guy for the next-door neighbor said he can be plumbing the next one I get them in here or they just pull back we're not tearing up the drywall well a big expense let's do it on the front side meeting up with it looks good does look nice new trim while we're on the ball all right what do you think about this fool this floors now does that mean he vinyl top no it's solid I'm around now why is why did you go with solid vinyl instead of carpet I want the solid body because if you have a problem animal hospital anything it will not soak any before I don't have to worry about that I'm hoping that it will last can fit in here and I don't have to worry about replacing so basically it's a rental so you know the lady that we're going to rent it to we know it seems cool and everything she won't be a problem but you know who knows how long you want to stay here or whatever and sometimes you get tenants where they don't carry your stuff that you think you carry yourself so they might make big messes yeah they do I want to be able to come in here you pick somebody find a victim and not have to replace the whole burger yeah I want to be able to just come in very clean carpets are like a big sponge yeah carpet you have it cost you a little more on front-end but there again you should make it back over longevity Long's that I scratch it or shrink it or none of that stuff but this stuff here it's not easily straight you know try was tricky he cleans up your - we dripped some paint on it but yeah eyes that took pectin and stroke no problem the new outlets throughout mm-hmm original like fan all working good I think the bulb is even rich we saved some money there people now we have to redo everything in the house but we didn't have to redo that bowl oh yeah okay this would be a good video to explain that one bunny okay I'm looking we got a good view out the front - by the way though the neighbors across the street let's talk about the neighbors cross street he's some good people over here look at that their yard is all nice and they moved in a new mobile home and made it look all good and everything so this whole neighborhood is coming up yep did they have a saw what this place looked like before today it had an old trailer from like the 60s on it that was just following the hella parts of really we think we're helping the neighborhood out but anyway I was gonna say you didn't explain very well in our tour video what you were talking about with the tape okay basically these winners they got taken outside of it hey everybody so you can pick this you pick this one up okay this like somewhere yeah let's go and you come home with it yeah so not air-conditioning sitting well there is no need to sit all the way in here so you put this in archives now when it's in the water I think whenever you were saying that I think you're dead on the money I think that was a lot of the freaking water damage yeah that piece servers were hoisting mmhmm yeah I think you were dead on the money and so the whole point of what he was saying in that that our first video there were touring outside was that's water all the water damage was coming from now we did put a we put a roof on it on the house but as far as I'm concern leak from the roof I don't think the roof was leaking [Music] was whoever said the beach they put four or five satellite dishes up there yeah and they have hopefully roof that's what we didn't like we couldn't actually there was also a [Music] we could want to patch it and took that off and did all that and it would have probably been fine but when you put the silicone and taller and stuff like that on there they're good for four or five years and then you got maintenance with it you put them asphalt shingles on 25 more people and you don't like work mmm-hmm sometimes it's better to spend a little more on just do it you don't like worry about it oh right and finally the only thing left to talk about in the whole room is this little bit this little bit here this is one you'll see me duct tape just updated but uh take this dent in a video where it was report and I'll show you how to fix I repaired it put it good the problem with this event is we got these doors seven that we're not the high water door now we have to be some real small or the door did it hey
