Founded in 1771, the Ippodo Tea headquarters is nestled in a serene, historic Kyoto alleyway. Guests are welcomed by a young Western shopkeeper whose agile service and warm personality create a unique cultural bridge. On the second floor, a striking piece of Chinese calligraphy hangs from the traditional wooden beams, evoking a profound sense of returning to ancient China.
