Today I'm making cabbage rolls using one of my favorite recipes. My family loves them. They're so tender and juicy, made with young cabbage and topped with a delicious sauce – simply delicious. 😋😋😋

To prepare, we'll need:

Young cabbage - 1200 g
For the filling:
Beef - 500 g
Chicken thigh fillet - 300 g
Rice - 120 g (boil until half-cooked)
Onion - 180 g
Carrot - 150 g
Butter - 20 g
Salt - 0.5 tsp
Ground pepper - 1/3 tsp
100 ml of gravy for juiciness of the cabbage rolls.

For the gravy:
Fried vegetables
Flour - 2 level tablespoons
Tomato paste - 100 g
Water - 1 liter (in which to boil the cabbage)
Salt - 1 tsp
Sugar - 2 tsp
Ground black pepper - 1/3 tsp
Sweet paprika - 1 tsp
Dried garlic - 1 tsp
Sour cream - 1.5 tbsp
Bay leaves - 3-4 pcs
Allspice - 5-6 pcs

I prepare the cabbage my favorite way: I cut out the core, place it in boiling water, and after it boils, simmer for a couple of minutes. Then I begin removing the leaves one by one. I place them in a sieve to drain. I sort through all the cabbage this way.
I prepare the gravy: I fry the vegetables in vegetable oil, set some aside in a bowl for the stuffing, and add flour to the remaining vegetables, sauté briefly. Then I add the tomato paste, sauté it, then pour in the water I used to boil the cabbage, salt, pepper, sugar, dried garlic, and sour cream, and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
I prepare the meat by mincing it. I pre-boil the rice for about 5 minutes, rinse it, and pour it into a sieve to drain. I combine all the filling ingredients, form the cabbage rolls, fry them in vegetable oil until golden brown, and place them in a saucepan. Add the bay leaf and allspice. Pour in the sauce and cook for 35-40 minutes from the moment they come to a boil.
They're delicious.
I highly recommend this recipe!
