Baxter's Trading Post Part 1: Foam Canyon Scenery | Thunder Mesa Model Railroad

Let's start the new year off right with a brand new project for the On30 Thunder Mesa Mining Company layout! "Baxter's Trading Post" is a new scene that will represent the oldest part of Thunder Mesa town. In this installment, I use the stacked foam technique to extend the mesa and provide a new canyon country home for some old favorite structures. Foam rock carving, finishing, and scenic painting are all covered in this video.
