Wiring Wyes & Juicing Frogs | Thunder Mesa Model Railroad

It's time to get trains running again on the On30 Thunder Mesa Mining Company layout! In this installment, I wire new and old parts of the layout for reliable DCC operations, then add an auto-reverse unit to control electrical polarity on the new wye in a way that's quick and easy. Frog Juicers from Tam valley Depot are added to provide uninterrupted electrical power to all of the turnouts and, last but not least, I hook up a wireless throttle from NCE to power the layout cable-free. It feels great to have trains running again on the old layout!
