I learned this trick from a baker! Bake a snowflake from yeast dough!
A delicate, aromatic and truly festive pastry that delights at first sight. This sweet "snowflake" made from soft yeast dough becomes airy, flaky and incredibly delicious. The dough, made with warm milk and fine lemon zest, rises beautifully, becomes elastic, and practically melts on the tongue.
Inside lies an intense chocolate filling made from cocoa, butter, sugar and a pinch of cinnamon, which gives the pastry a warm, cozy aroma. The beautiful shape makes the cake a real eye-catcher, and after baking, a golden-brown crust and a dusting of powdered sugar create a true pastry shop feeling.
The recipe is simple and easy to understand, and is also suitable for those who have little experience with yeast dough. This snowflake is perfect with a cup of coffee or tea, for a cozy family coffee, for weekend breakfast or for the festive table. Baked with joy – enjoyed with enthusiasm.

Recipe:
500-550 g wheat flour (4 cups).
3 tablespoons of sugar (3 tablespoons).
20 g fresh yeast (0.7 oz).
250 ml warm milk (1 cup).
1 egg + 1 egg yolk.
100 ml vegetable oil (7 tablespoons)
5-6 g salt (1/2 teaspoon).
1 tbsp vanilla sugar
zest of one lemon.
For the filling:
250 g (1 cup) butter
100 g (½ cup) sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3 tablespoons cocoa.
For garnish:
icing sugar.
Knead the dough and let it rest for 60 minutes.
Shape a chocolate snowflake as shown in the video. Brush with the egg-milk mixture.
Bake at 180 °C (356 °F) for 30–35 minutes.
Have fun baking!
