Welcome back, today I thought I'd take you through 1968, the song Black and Robin sang at the Boondree 1997 concert.
I'll show it to you in C, G, C, G, C, D.
It's got quite a nice introduction, so I'll play the introduction and show you guys where it goes.
So that's 5 on the top string, then back to 4, back to 5.
And here I'm playing 9 on the 5th and top strings together.
Then go back to 7 on the top string.
Then bar 7, finger on the 9th fret of the G chord.
Then go 10, 7, 9, 7, 5, 7, C chord, so fingers on the 2nd fret of the top string.
Then bar, finger on the 4th fret of the top string.
Move that, that was a G chord, move it up 2 frets.
So you've got a 5 and a 4, fingers on the 6th fret of the top string.
7 on the minor, then repeat that.
Then go back to that 9 again on the 5th and top string.
That's a 7, 5, 2, bar, introduction.
That's a song that comes in with the G chord.
So it's just bar 2nd fret, A minor, 2, 4, 5 on the 5th, 4th and 3rd strings.
D, slide that bar up from 2 to 4, to E minor.
D, then go to B minor, so I usually play that up here, the 11th fret.
Then go down to a G chord.
Then go to A minor.
Go back to G.
Go back to A minor.
You can repeat the last time, last time, last time, fret.
The introduction comes back in, I'll repeat that.
Then it goes to the part where it goes from A minor to G.
Go to E.
G, back to A minor, back to G.
A minor.
Go back to A minor.
G.
That's G.
That's C.
Cold is G.
Nice little voices here.
So that's the C chord.
Finger on the 14th top string, bar on the 12th.
Move it down to the bar on the 11th, finger on the top string, 12th.
Move that down.
Two frets.
So it's C, B minor, A minor.
Lead to the truth is a G chord.
Just play the C, B minor, A minor.
Into A.
G chord.
Up to the top again.
B minor.
